I love the dish soap so far. I was going to get the dishwasher tablets but they are even more expensive then the cascade platinum that I use now. Wasn't worth it to me with as much as we use our dishwasher.
Tried and really like the dishwasher tabs. Loved that it's unscented, and didn't have a PVA coating. Found it worked better than the finish tabs we had been using. Opted to try some other cleaning products from Meloria and The Unscented Company, not sure how I feel about those yet because we just got them.
Your original review of blueland cleaning products inspired me to purchase them. So happy i did because I love the hand soap and all purpose cleaner. I didnt end up buying the bottles, though they are very pretty i just ended up using the tablets to refill old plastic containers i already had at the house. I am so excited to try the dish soap!
Crystal Awesome! I’m so glad they worked out for you! Yes, using your own bottles is a great option!! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the dish soap once you try it out! Thanks so much for watching!! 😊
Kasandra Campbell Yes! I definitely understand why silicone was a good option. I just think a lot of people have something around the house that they could probably use instead. But it is a cute design! 😊
Naturally Mermaid Yes!! I think the grittiness of it helps (although it does dissolve). The first ingredient is baking soda, so maybe that’s the key? 🤷🏻♀️
I like that you don't have to buy the bottles. I have bottles and various containers from other products I've collected over time. It's nice to be able to repurpose them for these products.
Don't forget to leave the desiccant with your products as you transfer it into the Forever Shaker or Forever Tin, so that it can continue absorbing any moisture.
I liked the tip about the nutritional yeast shaker. As a matter of fact, I was thinking that I would probably just keep my current cascade container, and buy the refill tablets. I don't care if it's cute if it's out of sight 🤷♀️
Loved the video! I really appreciate you're videos and the fact that you take the time to actually use the products on the day to day before posting. Still contemplating the dish soap because of the price point plus we've had no issues with the bar soap we've been using. If I do grab it I will definitely take up your advice about the nutritional yeast shaker; I thought that was brilliant. Definitely, going to grab the dishwasher tablets after seeing your review. Hoping to see a blueland laundry tab video in the future 🤞 Keep up the good work!
Shea Thanks so much!! I’m glad they’re helpful! It is a little pricey for sure. The nutritional yeast bottle would be perfect for it!! You will be seeing a laundry tablet video soon! 😊 Thanks so much for the support! It means a lot! 💛🌏
Great video, I'm excited to try the dish soap! A tip for handwashing dishes- if you fill up one of the pots or bowls you're going to wash with water and soap, you can use that soapy water to wash your other dishes- saves soap and water. Also, the coating on pods (and the binder for sheets) is PVA, Polyvinyl Alcohol, a fossil fuel-derived plastic that dissolves but only biodegrades in the presence of acclimated bacteria (bacteria that have been exposed to PVA pollution over time), and even then, not completely under water treatment plant conditions. So dissolved plastic is going into our waterways and onto your dishes/clothes/skin.
I love the packaging and have had no issues with any bottles. The products will last as long as you keep the moisture absorbing pack inside all packaging. So far so good with use of actual product.
I haven't tried Blueland before and it seems a great choice for a dish soap. Your review is awesome. I think I must try Blueland now. Keep up the awesome reviews. 😊
Key point is at 2:20. When you pour the powdered dish detergent into the silicone container, you coughed. I’ve had this experience also and not just when filling the container but EVERY time I sprinkle some powder on my scrub pad. I can tell immediately that my breathing is impacted and I am really uncomfortable with that. I like the non-plastic approach but my lungs come first. Use at your own discretion; this is just my experience.
I was in the same boat. I loved how well the dish soap worked, but I coughed every time I poured it. Even went as far as trying to wear a mask. No bueno for COVID survivors or those with asthma IMO. But if you can handle it, it works really well.
@@clarissathomas1872 I went with Clean Cult instead. They have liquid dish soap that ships in heavy duty cardboard container. And you can get a glass dispenser. Better product if you are concerned about the respiratory issue.
@@clarissathomas1872 I've been using the liquid dish soap from CleanCult for a few weeks and it works well! I don't have any breathing issues, since there is no powder. This is what I'll stick with for the foreseeable future.
I had to return this because the powder made everyone in the kitchen cough like crazy. Blueland however was super nice and offered me a refund, no questions asked.
Momiji Andres Awesome! Definitely use what works best for you! It is a bit pricey. 😬 Thanks for waiting on my video review! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the soap once you get it!

How would you compare Blueland's dish soap to Cleancult's? I'm struggling to decide which to buy, I bought a dish soap bar but my mom doesn't like it so now I'm trying to find a replacement for that.
carolina hodgson Cleancult is most like a conventional dish soap. I do really like both. Blueland has more grit to it with the powder, so I’ve noticed it clean pretty well. It’s tough to choose between the two. I’d say, the easiest swap for someone who likes the conventional dish soap is The Cleancult dish soap (just because it is a liquid). I hope that helps! umm try washing your dishes with less liquid while cleaning them. Try using the product on wet utensils and then go in with the soap, dust/sprinkle the powder on top of the utensil, soak your cleaning sponge with water and then scrub the area...the detergent is more effective when you don't dilute the soap with a lot of water like when you were scrubbing the bowl with a lot of liquid in it.
