My sixteen year old son showed me this song asking me "Hey Mom, do you remember this song?" Oh boy do I! I remember this song playing at the roller skating rink when my husband (boyfriend at the time) asked me to be his date to JS prom. Ah, the good days 😍❤ So glad this song is getting the recognition it deserves after so long. Ditto by Old Jeans means so much to me and my husband!

Wow, seeing Old Jeans go viral again in 2023 makes me feel young again! I remember being a back-up dancer for one of their concerts.... We practiced very hard for this song and the girls were so sweet and kind 😍... It was a little strange though, every once in a while, in the practice room after a round of practicing the dance, while we back-up dancers were all catching our breaths or going over a dance move, they would huddle around and chatter amongst themselves, but almost in a way where it seemed like there was another one of them that we couldn't see.... Anyway, every time, we never really heard their discussions, and it was such a long time ago.... Though I do remember catching them mutter a tiny "He sue ya"... Probably a catchphrase or something!

It's been many decades since this timeless masterpiece has been released, I remember being a graduate fresh out of high school, and this played on the radio while I drove to the beach celebrating graduation with my pals from back then. Flared Jeans truly dominated the music industry in the 80s and I'm very thankful they did so.

I went on a nasty divorce in 1990, and this song somehow popped on the radio while I was driving, in 1985 I delivered a beautiful baby boy. Today, I stand strong and try to look on a bright side for me and my baby boy and this song kinda gives me hope to do so ❤️

I’m turning 65 today and I remember dancing to The Ol’ Jeans in my prom in 1985! The golden days! I’m so happy that their daughters decided to remake it, it brings so much nostalgia, I miss my husband that passed away some years ago, he was a sunshine always looking for attention, I used to do cookies for him every now and then, it hurts that he is not with me but oh my god! the memories we made with The Ol’ Jeans! It seemed to me very warm and touching that the artist of 1960 loves a popular youth group...still in my memory, my heart is warmed by both pH-1 and New Jeans. It was prom of 1985, I was seventeen, and I was going with my high school sweetheart. I picked her up and off we went! We were dancing while this song played and it was very romantic. It was our song after that.
Sadly she was abducted by aliens a few years after that, but i can still listen to that song now at 54 and remember our lovely time spent together.

In the 1985, i had a family business running up in the uptown, it was going poorly, but when newjeans ditto played, it gave me inspiration and hope, so ive put everything i had into that and now, my kids, its one of the most known restaurants. Im very proud of me and my family, and ill always be thankful to newjeans for this song
This brings back memories from my childhood. I remember when my parents had bought me my first Walkman in the summer of ‘88 from a garage sale! When I opened the cartridge, there was a NewJeans cassette, and the second I played it, I became addicted. My parents almost took it away since I was listening 24/7 🤣. My son was born in ‘95, and I absolutely bombarded him with this. Now, I have two beautiful grandchildren, and they always dance along when I play this 😊.

I heard this song when I was in highschool, time flies so fast I'm already 53 years old right now and I still feel that, Ditto was just released yesterday..I even bought two pairs of new jeans after this song was released. Now this is a real masterpiece.. the first time i heard this was in a restaurant i used to work back in the day with a coworker who is now my deceased husband. Because of this song, we had a full conversation of how amazing this song is and we gradually became closer as time goes by. It has became our routine to play this song during road trips the time we became official lovers. Since then it's been one of our favorite classics of all time.
