We must really appreciate that the GIANT is bringing not just popular sounds but wisdom and truth back to the forefront of music. He is moving into the leagues of Bob Marley and 2Pac, a very necessary verse in between today's noise of melodies.

Maybe with our present government. But then we are partially at fault. We recycle the same set of government. Regardless we all have our different opinions, but I still have hope for Nigeria. We're 59. many of the foreign countries we admire are hundreds of years old. We still have a long way to go. I mean Rome wasn't built in a day.🙃
Burna Boy is UNDER RATED , I love Nigerians because they own their story and tell them , through writings , through ,music , basically through ENTERTAINMENT and the memories remain.#AFRICAN STORIES TOLD BY AFRICANS.
I am - it never dawned on me about Unilever - hidden history always find it's way especially when we have intellectual musicians like Burna - African fusion is sweet but there are those who are not addressing the gift they hold in a positive manner and to me it looks as though it's only about the 'spondulucs' (money) - no moral message just sex, sex, sex. Not that there is anything wrong with that but every single song is covered with explicit images on the video. Whereas, Burna brings forth wisdom and factual events that occurred without the truth behind it. I am learning each day and embracing my mindset in a positive way. I wish my beautiful African sisters can ditch the imagery Western long wigs and hair pieces and adore their natural locks which is the envy but a lot of the women are blinded and see beauty in a false way.
He one of our finest... I have always said his song "no short cut to heaven" is one of the deepest lyrical content i have heard from any song any where in the world...Big up Manifest
Thanks to this video I learnt about the Nigerian history. I am greek but I am interested in the Africas history. Modern Greece is also in a way colonized by wealthier EU countries. I call it inner EU colonization. I hope someday all people will be truly free. We don't even need countries. Countries are made by people who want to rule others... We need just a cooperation of self-sufficient villages living in peace.
Stories from all over the globe whose of colour should be told. It cannot only come from one country but from all countries that have been oppressed by the colour of our skin.
It is incumbent upon Africa to Unite!!! the upside to colonialism is that it gave US as Africans a shared point of reference, from the Caribean, to Europe, to the Americas and ultimately to the Motherland...while in medieval times we existed as separate Communities and Kingdoms from Benin to Zimbabwe, our shared colonial history gives us a heritage and a cohesion we could have scarcely created ourselves... The story of Nigeria, is the Story of Kenya, it is the Story of Namibia...It is the Story of Africa!!! Viva Africa!!!

@DKhisa brother - let's not question why, when, who etc. Its was and still is the ultimate agenda - the plan. We have to look back in history - out of fear and breaking down the mindset you have a tribe of weak people. Every other nation who has in the past suffered wars and displacement still hold their original culture. Whereas the people of colour who have been displaced have been whipped, raped, killed etc. and ripped of their original identity. Our history are hidden locked away in volts not known to us. So much has been done to our culture - I am African descent yet I carry a Western name - the Asian, the Chinese, the Irish, the Scottish, the French, the Dutch, the Portugese, the Spanish etc. all have the ethnicity culture intact - it us Africans whi gave been ripped of this therefore we do not know who we are which weakens our mental and physical power. Do some research and you will not question the 'State of AFFAIRS' we are all in. You are my brother I know it now but I did not know it then - Peace and harmony x. One day I will come home to my motherland and kiss the richness of my stolen heritage
You are Nigerian first bro, and Canadian second. You are a Nigerian born or living in Canada so that makes you Nigerian Canadian. It seems small, but it’s the small details that matter the most

thats right nixon im american and just traced my roots back to nigeria and found out my family is of the yoruba tribe in nigeria so this song does make me appreciate africa more because yes its our roots
@@angelnelson2012 how did you traced your roots back? many coloured people doesn't know how too do that. I think every one our the most people wants too be in touch with their roots there herritage.
@@Tangtherealist44 ancestry.com helped and also a family of mine that lives abroad traced our heritage to the yoruba tribe in nigeria. But ancestry.com had census records datibg back to 1850 on my first american descendent.
This is good music. Both Ghana & Nigeria suffered Colonialism. So if u listen to the rap by Manifest, you'd realise that he spoke about Ghana's version. Good one Burna
entire Africa suffered , still suffering
The whole of Africa
Some part still suffering now
@o o All dark skin people suffer the stifling suppression of the Muzungus & their boulé...
Every single country in Africa except Ethiopia, has suffered from colonialism
Manifest is a poet. Burna is a philosopher... We thank God for blessing our generation with them
I wonder how they let Burna Boy reveal so many secrets with this one. Pure artistry.
M.anifest don’t hop on no stupid song.... that’s why we love him...
That rapper is lit 💥💥on this song, bro
Mentol mind on God bro
Damn it's so true

Burna waits until that moment he is sure the whole world is ready to listen...then he starts dropping knowledge and truth....#oluwaburna
Burna is a musical genius!
So proud of him. Proud to be Nigerian!
Burna is the 🐐 and its not even close
We must really appreciate that the GIANT is bringing not just popular sounds but wisdom and truth back to the forefront of music. He is moving into the leagues of Bob Marley and 2Pac, a very necessary verse in between today's noise of melodies.
I hope people would listen to the issue he's addressing and not just the sound he has put together to make the music. This is a serious issue and I'm proud not everybody is turning away from it. Kudos man. more to come.🙌🏽🙌🏽
Maybe with our present government. But then we are partially at fault. We recycle the same set of government. Regardless we all have our different opinions, but I still have hope for Nigeria. We're 59. many of the foreign countries we admire are hundreds of years old. We still have a long way to go. I mean Rome wasn't built in a day.🙃
Everyone watching this is are all going to have a blissful end of 2019 and so much of your dreams fulfilled
Bless you! May the universe bless us all with Peace, love, health, light & happiness! X

Burna Boy is UNDER RATED , I love Nigerians because they own their story and tell them , through writings , through ,music , basically through ENTERTAINMENT and the memories remain.#AFRICAN STORIES TOLD BY AFRICANS.

Who else think Burna is the greatest African musician in 2019.
Agreed, he's held the crown for the past couple years
Me i believe hidden crown but now brought out to the world
But 2 Baba too be more.
Burna been the greatest
SADE is still the greatest musician out of Nigeria
Who is learning history from this video?
🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 +🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭 =🔥🔥🔥
PlushBaybeee The force is strong🇳🇬🇬🇭
It's nothing we didn't all know. It's called Independence day for a reason. But what you do presently and for the future is what matters.
M.anifest brought me here, Ghana
I've liked this guy's songs before but after listening to this after a 'hard' day, i now know why he's a big thing in Africa now.
Ghanaians report here🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭. Asonaba Kwabrafoso Obuasi

M. Anifest representing 🇬🇭
My fellow Ghanaians let’s gather her for our M.anifest aka the god mc 🔥
He one of our finest... I have always said his song "no short cut to heaven" is one of the deepest lyrical content i have heard from any song any where in the world...Big up Manifest
John Cobbina exactly that song too dope and deep
It's the first time I've heard of this artist, his delivery was amazing on this track.
Yesssss god mc doing this thing
Video soooo conceptual, Young M.anifest stayed on his job never disappointed. Blessing to the Burna Don 🇬🇭🇳🇬
M dot is really nice with it
Never a bad song with this man innit 🤧😍
Thanks to this video I learnt about the Nigerian history. I am greek but I am interested in the Africas history. Modern Greece is also in a way colonized by wealthier EU countries. I call it inner EU colonization. I hope someday all people will be truly free. We don't even need countries. Countries are made by people who want to rule others... We need just a cooperation of self-sufficient villages living in peace.
Deep sense
Wallahi! I'm sure your idea use to be the case until they started creating boundaries
Sure
Chinua Achebe - 'Until the lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.' Africans Let that sink in...

"We are Africans before we became anything else"...one love
More stories like this needs to be told to NIGERIANS by most influencial musicians..... NIGERIA never EXISTED💯
Stories from all over the globe whose of colour should be told. It cannot only come from one country but from all countries that have been oppressed by the colour of our skin.
Nigeria: a British contraption.
Neither did those other countries in Africa.
icilmaa nope. Some African nations pre-date colonialism.
@@docrakidocraki8067 Which nations are they?
It is incumbent upon Africa to Unite!!! the upside to colonialism is that it gave US as Africans a shared point of reference, from the Caribean, to Europe, to the Americas and ultimately to the Motherland...while in medieval times we existed as separate Communities and Kingdoms from Benin to Zimbabwe, our shared colonial history gives us a heritage and a cohesion we could have scarcely created ourselves... The story of Nigeria, is the Story of Kenya, it is the Story of Namibia...It is the Story of Africa!!! Viva Africa!!!
Burna boy has played such an important role in me accepting who i am as a Canadian Nigerian. I am forever grateful for being blessed enough to listen to his music and seeing him perform live at rebel in Toronto. Oluwaburna 🙏🙏
That"s what we need to put into our vocabulary- I am Guyanese-African
WAKE UP AND TRULY HAVE SELF-WORTH.
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD A EUROPEAN CALL THEMSELF GERMAN NIGERIAN OR NIGERIAN CANADIAN ?
YOU ARE A NIGERIAN, HAVE SELF-WORTH AND STOP ALLOWING YOURSELF TO BE CONDITIONED TO LOOSE YOUR DIGNITY.
It seems small, but it’s the small details that matter the most
@@Guyana531 THE REALITY IS THAT SO MANY OF OUR PEOPLE ARE ARROGANTLY STUPID, THEY HAVE ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BE CONDITIONED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT SUPERIOR TO THEM TO NOT HAVE SELF-WORTH.
IF I ASKED YOU WHO WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE CREATED, I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED TO HEAR YOU REFER TO THE ADAM AND EVE MADE UP STORY.
IF YOU SEE AN IMAGE OF A BEAUTIFUL PURE AFRICAN WOMAN WITH WINGS, YOU WOULD CONSIDER HER TO BE A DEMON.
THE CREATOR(ALMIGHTY POWER THAT BE) IS A SPIRIT,POWER OF ALL CREATION, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION CONSCIOUSNESS AND MADE UP STORIES DESIGNED TO KEEP US STUPID.
Manifest is too underrated, no place like home thanks for that Mani....
we need to start writing our own stories, we can’t let a white man to write African history. Proud African...🇨🇲🇨🇲🇳🇬🇳🇬
Colonialism is the same everywhere! Africa was always a field for business and our ancestors paid the price with their blood. May us stay united ♥
It's still a huge marketplace of business for those in power. Nothing has changed except the colour of the skin interms of the characteristics of our leadership.
They don’t know .. it’s fire when you got M.anifest on it tho 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank you for enlightening Afrikans and diaspora through your visuals and your message we are waking up #africangiant ... 👊🏿🇬🇭🇬🇧 blackloveblackpower

Africans need to rise up with one voice. This current situation we are being faced with is disheartening. I pray our future generations won’t be faced with this. Recycling same corrupt leaders. Nigeria the time is now or it will be too late when we realize.
