I've done a Couple scratch builds also , and they are always fun. Also there is no soul crushing heartbreak when you crash, because you can just easily fix it or just build another one.

Hey I've been watching your videos since long and it's really great.. i've a question, does the motor create all the thrust or the large wings inclined at an angle with the horizontal axis contribute some upward lift too ?? I'd be grateful if you answer
The motor provides the propulsion. As long as there is thrust in the forward direction, the lift force of the wings occurs in the upward direction. But after the engine stops, some more gliding continues.

withiot this cover the lift is damaged and making a lot of turbulence on the wing.
Thanks.. I made this to be lightweight. In addition, this (Concave profile) allows it to fly at very low speeds. It is not wrong to have an open wing.

Hi..nice build. I have a question..so rhe micro receiver u used in this build it paired up to your flysky radio even though it's not a flysky receiver??? And that being said I'm guessing you bind that receiver to your flysky radio the same way you bind a flysky receiver to your flysky radio??thanks....
FS2A four channel receiver is using AFHDS 2A protocol so it can be bind with flysky transmitters, I also having it and works really well.
Yes, a receiver (FS2A) for Flysky radios. Matches like other Flysky receivers.

I have a question since I have been planning on following this build for my project. Will the 20A esc work on a single 3.7v battery ? the product specs say it takes 4.8v-7.6v and this has confused me a bit. Also, does the ESC have a BEC to power the arduino based receiver? Its hard to source smaller bldc motors where I live and I want my build to be light enough to work off a single cell. I am also planning on trying make an rc car from a die cast model (bigger than hot wheels so space is there for arduino and everything). Hope you see this and reply.
When the 3.7V battery is fully charged, it is 4.2V. This ESC can work up to 3.9V. BEC available. But your receiver and servon must also be able to work with low voltage. The ones I used in the video can work.
@@Kendin-Yap THANK YOU SO MUCH for the reply. I just got the batteries and ESC in the mail and tested and it works. The concern i have is if the Arduino based receiver I'm planning on making will work well. My arduino nanos seem to work fine but i am yet to test the nrf24l modules and servos.

Hey u have used 9gr servos which work with 5v but the maximum power supply is at full charge 4.2v so how did they work?
These servos can operate up to 3.8v-3.9V level. It loses some speed and torque, but that's not a problem for this model.

I have watched your video many times and followed the guidelines for my plane. I had problems with the radio because I had to hold the "Cancel" key longer to save the configuration. 🙂With 3.7 the engine has no power. Maybe because the other elements subtract energy from the engine? So I put a 7.4 battery in it and it sounds better. But won't the motor burn out? thanks for answering
When a 3.7V cell battery is charged, it will be 4.2V. It should be fine until it drops to 3.8 - 3.9V.
Since the engine will produce high power when 7.4V battery is used, the structural strength of the fuselage and wing of the aircraft will not be sufficient. This model has to be very light in order to fly with low power. Therefore, it does not have the structural strength required for high strength. If you are going to use it with 7.4V, you need to strengthen the wing and fuselage. (Can work with DC 180 motor 7.4v.)

Yeterince cevap verilmiş. Biraz daha açayım. Motorların bobinleri çalışma esnasında elektriksel gürültü (parazit gibi) üretirler. Bu gürültü elektronik devreleri özellikle alıcı gibi devrelerin sinyallerini olumsuz etkileyebilir. Seramik kondansatörler bu gürültüyü filtreler.

Herşeyiyle çok güzel bir model olmuş fakat fiyat açısından şu ankı kullandığınız kumanda yerine daha uygun nasıl bir kumanda tercih edilebilir
En uygun fiyatlı kumandalar Analog olanlardır (Menüsü ve ekranı olmayan). 4 kanallı bir anolog kumanda ile temel bir çok model uçak kontrol edilebilir. Markası önemli değil. Diğer seçenek arduino ile kendi yapacağınız kumanda olabilir.
Emeğinize sağlık çok net anlatmışsınız, motor itme açıları her uçakta aynı mıdır? Arkadan itiş fpv modeller için açıkar hangi yönde ve kaç derece olmalıdır?
Burundan çekiş için genellikle bir birine çok yakındır. Arkadan itiş de ise değişir. Örneğin bazı yapılarda yukarı açı gerekir. Kesinlikle şöyle yapın demek zor.

Hey, so I’m doing this for my science fair and while I was connecting the battery to the esc the esc started smoking. Do you know why? The battery is 4.2 volts - 5 volts, I think that was the issue but I’m not sure.
ESC supports up to 8.4V. The problem is not voltage.. You must have connected the positive and negative poles wrong. Another possibility is that you may have short-circuited the motor output cable ends. In both cases, ESC burn up.
@@Kendin-YapOk, thank you it works now. The only problem is I used cardboard for the whole thing and the plane won’t fly or glide with the wind. It fell and the cardboard body is destroyed any recommendations?

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any 3mm foam for the wings so I thought of using 3mm Eva foam but that bends too much and isn’t structurally strong. The plane still doesn’t glide and falls. Have any ideas what I did wrong and why it doesn’t fly.

Hi There....i need your help...i followed the instructions but 5:53 to 7:22. But FC-16X is not remembering the setting. CH3 still goes complete back n forth and not able to see any power to Motor. What am i doing wrong? Could you please guide? Both reciver and ESC have flashing blue (slow) and fashing red and it only makes 1 DO sound.
If you are talking about FS-i6X, you need to press and hold the CANCEL button for a long time to save the setting.
@@Kendin-Yap Thanks so much for responding. Got it able to pass that one. But still no power is going to motor. ESD board just makes one DO beep but nothing past that, unlike in your video DO BE MI (7:36 to 7:43). Could you please help, if the issue is receiver board or ESC Board? i ordered another set just in case. Battery is fully charged 4.18v , Now reciever light is blinking slow (so should be connected). Any suggestion will be very helpful

The recommended voltage range for the ESC is 4.8V to 8.4V. You're using a single 3.7V cell. How do you explain this? I'll read you carefully before finalizing my order.
Every ESC has some flexibility in the positive and negative direction. When the single cell battery is fully charged it is 4.2V. The ESC I mentioned in the link works smoothly up to 3.9V. I tested it for a long time and had no problems.

How can the esc which is rated for 4.8v functions on 3.7v?
When 1S battery is full, it is 4.2V. And these ESCs have voltage flexibility. It works fine until it drops to 3.8-3.9V.

Mümkün ama uçağı biraz sağlamlaştırmanız gerekir. Çünkü 7.4V ile motor gücü baya farkediyor. Kanat altını komple 3mm depron ile kaplarsınız. Ve kanat içine boydan boya 3-4 mm kalınlığında bir çıta koyarak destek yaparsınız.

Çalışır ama menzil önemli ölçüde kısalacaktır. Tüm alıcılar için ideal voltaj 5-6V dur. Yaklaşık en az 3-3.5V a kadar çalışırlar ama menzil kısalır. Bunun gibi kısa mesafede kullanılan modellerde sorun olmaz.
