I found out about this film because of an achievement in the game Until Dawn called "Don't Scare Jessica To Death" which you receive if you manage to keep the character Jessica alive. Weird film 😆
I know I watched this way back in the day, although hadn't given it any thought until recently stumbling upon it at a free movie app, and so gave it a watch. If you're into 70s horror it's entertaining ...not fantastic, but entertaining in a dream-like way. Thanks for the review!
One of the few movies where they did an authentic job of giving the viewer the POV from someone suffering from mental illness. You really get to experience the world through the mind of Jessica, with the inner voices and hallucinations. Much like classic B&W films "The Innocents" and "The Haunting" where the filmmaker assumes the audience is intelligent & leaves the decision up to the viewer about what's real and what's in the protagonist's head.
Agree on the Not disturbing. Not scary. But unsettling. Besides that I always think that Let's Scare Jessica To Death probably it's the best title ever.

Thanks for the Review & Video 😀
There is nothing better than 70s vampire movies.
One of my absolute favorites.

I'd heard several years ago it was being remade, and I'm glad that never materialized.
Great review! This & Messiah of Evil make a rad double feature

Might have been entertaining back in the day, but now it's not much more than outdated garbage.
