Pada Project:
A song reveals a people, a people reveal their purpose, a purpose reveals an unseen universe. A universe that floats in the endless grace of a song. It is here that the stories of the PaDa project lie.
About the artist:
Mickma Tshering Lepcha, born and brought up at Tashiding, Nyoldhang Busty in West Sikkim. Hi was born in a Lepcha family and has strong feelings and eagerness towards the Lepcha folk songs and music. He has been learning and performing Lepcha folk songs and music since his school days. Currently he is working at Songs and Drama Unit, Cultural Affairs & Heritage Department, Govt. Of Sikkim and Sofiyum, a Lepcha folk fusion band, based in Gangtok.
SAAWOH
"SAWOH" basically translates to term prayers. This song is in regards to prayers offered to the guardian deity of the land, seeking protection from all ill happenings, it also seeks blessings of good health and prosperity of all beings.

Please make Rong vam with original Lepcha tune, Like, "Kalhenpong Thomka Zerkager parka". Now a days Rong singers are making Lepcha songs with Nepali and Hindi tune which doesn't hear good la. Tokchee nyimo la ing song.
