The one thing I don't believe is getting the watch serviced every 4-5 years, unless you're really hard on it and wear it every day. I think 7-10 years is more than enough personally
Agreed. I took my 2009 Omega Seamaster to be serviced after 9 years in 2018, not because anything was wrong but just because it felt like I was “behind” on the servicing. Never again. I had to take it back about 4 times to get the accuracy back to what it was before I took it in for service. Freaking annoying. I’ll not do it again. Only if my watch is not accurate or there’s something wrong will I get it serviced.
About the polishing, just use your watch and enjoy it. People that buy for selling are not the real watch lover. A watch lover wears his watch and that’s it. Ps: the case should never be bigger then your wrist, it doesn’t matter which brand you pick, if you can’t rock a 44 mm Rolex you also can’t rock a 44 mm Hublot.
Don't automatic watches have built-in "tech" to prevent over-winding? I think they do. Otherwise they'd overwind with regular wear. But still, there's no need to to more than 30turns. I usually just wind until they start moving and then do 15. Even on my manual winders, 15-20 is enough for the whole day.
Personally I would not wear an expensive watch while swimming or taking showers even divers with high water resistance. For me water and metal are not exactly good for each other.
Micro fiber clothes should be fine, but we are mainly talking about over polishing your watch with brute force. For the best results, we always recommend just coming in and we will help you out.
i have a question - i have a platinum daytona 2021 non baguette version. Its fully factory stickered with the barcode and i dont want to wear it because im scared the stickers coming off would make it take a hit in value. I have an eye of the tiger in the same condition. What do you recommend i do especially since i bought them as investments? if i do wear them and the stickers come off how much of a hit would it take?
BUY THE SELLER! Someone with lots of good reviews. No they are NOT the same on the inside, it’s very obvious to an experienced watch dealer when there’s a fake. I can show you side by side pictures and show you 100 differences. And I’m talking the best clones $800 from China.
I have a Rolex Sub that i plan on getting serviced in the near future. I have taken out very very minor scratches with a polishing cloth. Never going crazy. The watch is near perfect !! Does a Rolex service include polishing ? I feel mine does not need it .Should i tell them that upfront? Great video !!👍 I plan on visiting Happy Jewelers someday ! 😁
*Let me know some other tips and trick I might of missed!*
Never stick your watch up your bung hole
Over polished watches can be repaired by laser welding buddy
I can go for a date setup. Lovly videos :))
Also, if you wanna like shiny things on your watch. Buy factory not ice out bullshit.
I’ve been laying my watched flat forever. 🤦🏻♂️

Wear your watch. Don’t worry about scratches

Hey! Do u design /manufacture Custom jewellery?

Congratulations to happy jewelers. You guys are like taking over the Internet absolutely your first stop if you’re buying a watch.
Great tips!
SOS pads are great for removing dirt
gracias x los consejos ....
What about watch winder ? Is good or bad on daily basis for watches and can it overwind a watch ?
Watch winders are a very tricky subject. We personally are okay with using watch winders for watches that are not worn daily.
Could we get a video on how to properly clean your watch at home?
Can you actually overwind a modern Rolex?
Personally I would not wear an expensive watch while swimming or taking showers even divers with high water resistance. For me water and metal are not exactly good for each other.
What cloths are you talking about that screw up polishing? Regular micro fibre??

Changing the date too late at night/early morning
Tips from a Pro 👍

Expect a 20-30% hit if you wear them. Which I think you should
If you bought purely ad investment. Put in safe and never wear. Instant value loss
i just polished my watch, and you start your video like this😭
How do you avoid buying fakes when box and papers are not available ? GMT´s are perfectly cloned, even the inside are indentical..

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!!!! You can NOT over wind a Rolex, there’s a mechanism in there that STOPS the watch from being over wound.
Ive never wind a auto watch , just give it a gentle shake . Then wear it , never had any issues
Great video but at the end of the day a sub is a tool watch. You shouldn't be buying one if you're going to freak out every time you put it down.
show Omega watches !!
Over winding a watch.🤣
Never lay the watch on the crown either
A solid tip. 👍🏼
You can get protective stickers for your bracelet to stop the scratching im pretty sure

Rolex will automatically include it and charge you for it. However, if you wish to opt out; make sure to let them know in advance.
@@happyjewelers Thanks for the Info !
Very Much Appreciated !!👍
Wow you really don't know that you can't overwind nearly all modern automatic watches? As a professional watch dealer?
Polishing is a terrible idea. I wouldn’t even give my car to someone to polish the paint. You really need to do your research who is qualified.
Never buy a watch at a over priced rate 👍🤔 fake price 👍
someone filmed this video with a potato ??
