What's the deal with digicams?

I tried out the digicam craze, to see what the fuss was. I used to shoot with compact cameras back in the day, but I have a new perspective now, 20 years on. What do you think?

We mostly use our phones but on trips I take our 2006 Sony DSC 93 camera. It takes the best low light , total darkness pictures of any digicam we've had.

Thank you! I shoot with many cameras and feel no need to hype up any particular one, as i feel you can take good photos with nearly any camera, once you learn it’s limitations and best use!

My first digital camera was 3.2 mega pixel Olympus. Man, I do miss it.

Yea! I did a lot of googling to see what cameras had a ccd sensor and raw capabilities. I think the whole S line does!

It’s a fad right now. Still just more pics no one cares about or will even see. Make it fun at whatever price point.
Just remember, people were eating tide pods because of the same fads
