I'm looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and the KOTOR remake.
I've played KOTOR many times and will probably play it again. It isn't too long and not too short and I can be as light side or dark side as I want to be, and it is a complete story unlike KOTOR 2 which made me depressed, and it was really left unfinished. I'm pretty sure it was cleaned up later, but I didn't want to bother with it, probably still won't bother with it.

There are a ton of good looking games this year. I’m most excited for Zelda, but Banishers looks very enticing. I’ll be keeping an eye on that one

Really looking forward to BG3 as it offers everything I ever wanted in a modern RPG - tactical party turn based combat with AAA level production quality and cinematic cutscenes. 2022 was a really miserable year for these types of games but 2023 is looking far more promising. Also looking forward mostly to Starfield, Dragon Age:Dreadwolf, Avowed and Wayward Realms, and maybe Capcom will surprise us with some new Dragon's Dogma 2 news as well....

I really enjoyed Solasta. Turn based rpg with actual To Hit and Damage dice rolls. Rolls on key conversations. DnD magic spells, the only thing that wasn't great was the feat selection and crafting was very average. Still enjoyed playing.

beksinski is one of the most rudimentary modern artists out there. Anyone slightly interested in art will know his work.

Nice list! Your list included 8 of my top 10 upcoming RPG games (Crimson Desert, Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, The Elder Scrolls 6, Where Winds Meet, Dragon Age 4, Atlas Fallen and Greedfall 2, plus one honorable mention (Mass Effect 4 or 5, depending if Andromeda is considered by some as 4?) The only TBA game on my list and that was left off your list is Beyond Good & Evil 2.The Wayward Realms and Avowed also look very promising, but I still need to see and learn more about both games, before they make it on my list of ganes to purchase.
I want crimson to be great, but its pearl abyss. Black desert has the BIGGEST cash shop in all of gaming and if thats this experience, i wont buy in.
There is a lot of stuff here that looks super cool. I feel like gaming is going through another resurgence after the pandemic!

The upcoming Fable IV and KOTOR Remake are the ones I'm hyped for the most. The Lords of the Fallen looked pretty dope also, and the Templar insignia and spiked helm on the character featured in the cinematic trailer for it combined with the fact that you are meant to fight against hellish demonic type enemies...it gives me strong Dante's Inferno vibes. I'm pretty hyped for that one also 😎👍

but yeah me too also hyped for final fantasy 16, dragon quest 12, zelda totk, banishers from life is strange devs is looking clean/big budget, starfield and outer worlds 2 should be decent, avatar could turn out epic if ubisoft handles it with great care (same goes for beyond good and evil 2), granblue fantasy relink, dragon age dreadwolf, diablo 4, baldur's gate 3, eventually the new elder scrolls 6, mass effect, witcher 4, dragons dogma 2, ronin, etc u name it a lot of high quality games to pick from for sure and that's not even including games from other genres like street fighter 6 and tekken 8 just to name a couple

D4, Starfield, and Unawake are my most 2023 anticipated. Black Myth, the Awakener, Dragon Age Dreadwolf are games I'm most hoping turn out well and plan to play. Wild cards for me are Immortals of Aveum and The Wayward Realms. KOTOR Remake, Mass Effect, and Elder Scroll VI are beyond my current ability to anticipate, they are core life long milestone games for me(as is D4 but we have a date for that).
Omg all these games look so good! I'm definitely looking forward to some of them. Diablo 4 IV comes out on my birthday so I'll have to look into that one lol. Thank you for another amazing video Wolf! Love the longer video! ❤

I'm glad you mentioned (at least once) about the blending of genres; sometimes it makes for a beautiful marriage, and sometimes, it's a messy divorce fighting over who has the kids. Immortals of Aveum, Nazralath, and Wyrdsong look intriguing. But of course, I'm here for the BG3... and I am downright psyched with the "release month". I'm sure I will play Fable 4, WH4K, D4, Star Wars Eclipse... and in time, TES. Happy New Year Wolf!

Most of these look really good. Especially excited for BG3, but I would play most of these, at least give them a shot. Despite Bethesda's apathy toward their bugs and flaws in games, I like their content. I'm not so into Sci-Fi but I will give Starfield a chance. But I'm certainly not going to have the money for all of these games.

You wanna know what's absolutely f**ked up? I genuinely already knew about 90% of these games by name and can list them off the top of my head.
This is how starved of RPGs I've been for the last 3 years really. Surely good ones have come out during that time, but the amount of upcoming RPG/Adventure games that I know of.

I must say I'm glad to see a competent list!
Usually these lists are all of the same 10-20 games no one really is interested in, or seems to be in development hell, like how Bannerlord was constantly on these kinds of lists every year from 2014-2019.
This list has 50, a few of which I'd never heard of before, and certainly enough variety that there should be SOMETHING in the list for everyone.

Great list. A lot of ambition that might just be realistic with new tools and better game engines. Let's hope a lot of them make it through and become great games and don't end up in development hell or released in EA with a 10 minute demo.

To play games like KOTOR or RDR2 is like a religious experience. Truly, I am looking to play, or replay, KOTOR. I just wish Rockstar would remake RDR1 for the PC. Exhaustive list that you went through for us Wolf, much appreciated.

I'm not completely up to date with the lord of the rings lore, but the only thing golem was a slave to was the ring. He was a hobbit that found the ring and was corrupted by the ring.
Watching this video made me overjoyed that single-player games are firm. I hope they tone down the microtransaction and DLCs. These titles sure make me hopeful for the game industry. 50 game titles that would be 1 game every week for a whole year. 😍

That's a metric ton of games ! Some are just vaporware at this point (bloodlines 2, kotor remake) but still. I'm more excited about the unknown ones, but for established names greedfall 2 and of course D&D original sin 3 are the only ones I care about
