So for anyone curious, that door was made of tempered glass. The strain of two people pulling the handle different ways, as well as other potential things it might be levered against can cause it to crack. Tempered glass is strong because its under a huge amount of thermal stress inside, with the core pulling the outside glass very hard towards the inside. If any cracks form anywhere in the glass, it releases the pressure in that spot, creating a chain reaction which often looks explosive.

Just had to put this out there, the lady in the first clip is going to Vancouver island in Canada (trying to at least). She’s at the bc ferry’s Tsswassen terminal lol. I was there last week, the staff is super nice and put up with way to much stuff like that.
Err btw its not the people she was upset by but by bcferries. They in the last year or two put a strict policy of no ticket sales less than 10 minutes before departure. Its ridiculous cause you can usually the ferry even if u arrive just 5 mins early.
As a camper, that would be heartbreaking to have a bear destroy your only means of travel. It looks like she's out there by herself, at the end of September (it's not warm), on a lake, and her only way to get home is through that kayak. Obviously she made it home, because we have the video, but in that moment, it would be absolutely terrifying. I don't blame her for freaking out.
Why would she deserve it? Okay, she may be a little "off her rocker", but why does that qualify her to deserve a scare of losing hundreds of dollars, and potentially putting her in a legitimately dangerous situation (being stranded by yourself in cold weather with a limited supply of food)?

Her only means of transportation off the island was the kayak the bear was destroying. After the bear destroyed it she had to swim out to a boat to get help. She also taught in several third world countries.
