    The Haynes manual says you should put the sprocket marks 12 links apart. On my chain there's only 1 set of markers, the black ones, which fix the sprockets 12 link pins apart. You have an extra set that puts the sprockets 16 link pins apart and from what I can see in the video you used the 2nd set, the copper ones. How is the engine running?

    At what vehicle mileage the chain was changed and what was the condition of the chain and slides? First replacement timing belt is recommended after 180kkm -240kkm(max). But there is no information about chain. I`h heard that problem is sliders not tensioner. Also worth to clean intake manifold. WARNINGS: : 1* much to much silicone ; 2* you don`t use
    torque wrench (the best way to skew the cover or break the screws). Free silicone pieces will clog the oil channels or get into the compressor or
    clogs oil strainer upstream of the compressor. Strongly recommended to use torque wrench due to service manual adjustments. ///

    Что это даёт для двигателя?

    hi thanks for the video, im having an issue with no start after replacing cam carrier, at the end were you manually moving the cams to timing position before bolting down, did you have any problems on start up?

    • @fixyourcar9339

      I doesent have any problem. But i think so the hydraulick lifter rocker arm is the proble you need to press out all off the oil. This is what you need to do:
      Put the hydraulick lifter in a vise and press out all of the oil after that the engine will start whitout any problem.

      On the timing chain, the marking on the camshaft must be affixed to the dark mark, not the copper color!

    Was the chain sound only on cold start for a few seconds or constant?

    • @fixyourcar9339
      @fixyourcar9339  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tensioner is the problem because the oil pressure lift the tensioner.
      When the tensioner is bad the oil pressure can't lift it.

      Fix your Car Hi, I just posted a video. Could you possibly watch it and confirm if it sounds like the chain tensioner. Many thanks

    • @fixyourcar9339

      Yes this sound is the chain touching the cam shaft cover, so you need to replace.
