I've had my Linea Mini for around a year. I can tell you one of my biggest mistakes was having it turn on in the morning and off at night. If your not using it a few times a day its not good just having it running. I always used Poland Spring water, checked the harness and it still scaled up. The reason of the scaling, the machine being left on without being used enough. I love my LM and it really does produce shots as good as any cafe you will visit but if you use it to make a few shots a day leaving it running is a bad idea from what i've been told.

Love the setup/workflow! Looking to get a Linea Micra in the future as my end game espresso machine.
Also, I kneww I recognized your voice! Is this channel completely separate from your previous one?

What box is that where your tamping? It's very nice to hold everything

Quite a satisfying process! I envy it since don't have room for so many equipment :)

I went a little overboard. It coincided with getting the mortgage for the ranch so I just said screw it, now or never haha. I love it though, and it’s been getting a ton of use

Good point. I got a new Linea Mini and I was shocked how big that thing is when I put it on the counter.

Wow! An eye-opening video. I have a new LM Linea Mini that I got less than a month ago. Red! I've been struggling to get good coffee. For some reason I've been grinding 18g shots on my Ceaddo E37S with the 21g basket and the coffee comes out way too strong and bitter. You use 14g and a 14g basket. I will definitely try that.
Funny to see you fight the Lunar scale. Those tactile buttons are so frustrating to use. I use mine in mode 2, which means tap to tare and tap to start timer. That's a lot of re-tap opportunities. Frustrating. I will use it in Mode 4, like you. Possible only re-tap need would be to turn the thing on.
Did you get a bottomless PF as part of the purchase or did you have to buy that separately? I didn't get one as part of the purchase. They're running USD135 (!!!) on their website.
What coffee beans do you use?

For a while I was doing 20grams in and 40 grams out @ 30 seconds. I've since changed to 18grams in and 32 grams out for a much more pleasant shot. If I want it not as strong I'll make it 18/36. I've had a few other expensive espresso machines but this is the only one from literally directly out the box I've been able to pull perfect shots after dialing in the beans literally every single time.
