Because it caches my attention? because no one has raised the possibility of such a being. Now imagine tales of those misadventures.

@@lazarmarinkovic8486 It is called Quantum Catapult. It lets you throw your fleet all over the galaxy, although where they may actually land is somewhat random 😊 There are 5 new origins, one of it is that you start with a disabled Quantum Catapult near your home system.
@@Slavesforsale1 Just create your own. The mammalian (?) ship set looks very tau like, and there is also a similiar species portrait. In addition you can set primitive to maximum. And depending on which lore you prefer, you can either make them psionic or go materialist.
@@Grothgerek As far as I'm aware Tau in the lore have almost no connection to the warp, so I dont see how they could be psionic. Spiritualist maybe, but materialist would also make sense with their dependence on robots/mechs
@@CrazyDutchguys In the more modern approach of Tau to make them more grimdark, it is said that the etherals have psionic powers to control the empire and some of its vassals (like the vespids). There seems to be quite some discussion about Tau Lore... some that prefer a more grimdark faction, and some prefer a more good and scientific faction.
What I love about this trailer is it’s not even slightly exaggerated. I had this exact scenario play out in game, to the letter. Got the secret fealty pledge, went to war to steal them as a vassal, used a mercenary fleet to soak up damage and tip the scale, even got the cool armor the admiral had because it’s an actual trait that admirals can get called Fallen Armor or something like that. Just awesome

God, the thought of having a fleet in a tight battle partway across the Galaxy, with no reinforcements in range and then suddenly a second fleet warps in from god knows how far away to turn the battle in your favor. Cinematic and absolutely badass way of turning battles in your favor.

Just say "hey we expect it MIGHT be released in summer 2022 but no promises." Something. Some very basic communication would be nice since I paid over $100 for all the content in this game and its like a year behind PC and we have no mods to help the wait or fill gaps. Ah yes, use your friendship and favors to change the vassal agreement so that the overlord is obligated to fight in your wars, declare war on another powerful empire and watch the two giants destroy each other. If you also declared claims, you will get yourself some nice new systems while your master will be left with nothing but a destroyed fleet and a devastated economy. I love politics.

The part you couldn't translate was "Send in the mercenaries!". Mercenaries are warriors who do not fight for their country, honor, or whatever, but for money, everyone can buy their services.
I have only a year under my belt from playing Stellaris and I have expanded on a few DLC expansions and so far I just recently purchased the Overlord expansion. The trailer alone got my attention and I couldn't help but want to become the Overlord. Stellaris really is amazing in art, music and storytelling.
@@suddenimpulse030 the 2 conversion mods that I know of are horrible. In one you have to use a preset empire while the other you can make one but you can't make a gestalt consciousness so no hivemind or machine intelligence. While the other you're forced to select a spawn area of the galaxy map and there are little to no habitable planets. I want a mod that just gives you the ships, weapons and resources. The only ones that do that are grossly old and none of them are the same version so you couldn't use them together anyway.
And now the long wait begins.... For console edition to catch up lmao... I'll just be patiently wait over here hyped af for yet another awesome looking expansion.
It would be so cool to have more epic animations like these in the game. In the new orion every character is so good presented that would be cool to have in stellaris 2 as well.

The Cinematic camera in Star Wars: Empire War instantaneously made even the most visually boring battles look like a Star Wars film.

I want a mod that just gives you the ships, weapons and resources. The only ones that do that are grossly old and none of them are the same version so you couldn't use them together anyway.
