That is the natural headset of a horse. Reining horses are trained to carry their heads low because it helps them to use the rest of their bodies most efficiently. This ride was picture perfect!
@@lixz23A lot of the fundamentals are actually the same as dressage. Rider using aides subtly, horse traveling incredibly well and using its body perfectly. Hind legs are moving in perfect motion when spinning. Sliding stop doesn’t hiccup, it slides smoothly. it’s a perfect ride.
Same, I ride 'normal' style English saddle and I have no idea how she gets her horse to do things without using her reins. Really impressive but I need more explanation please.

One of the prettiest rides you’ll see! Well done, Gina!
I wished they would explain more because I have no idea why it's so good.
Haha me too I’m a dressage rider no idea what is going on there 😂

@ it’s all in the seat, legs, and core. all things that should be controlling movement, not reins.
What a ride, my god
Wow- beautifully done!! ❤️🤩❤️
Great job Gina!
That horse did the moonwalk at the end?! 😎
No it’s backing up
Wow.
Super
Seem strange that horses didn't have there heads like that in the 80's.
WOW 💞💯
Tolle Reiterin tolles pferd.
Heck yeah, this is what I'm talking about. WOW!!!!
Ахереть, я случайно узнал чем занимается дочка Михаэля Шумахера!!!
Nieźle bratku ::)))
Top 👍
Why does he travel with his head so low?
because shes giving him his head instead of holding him short to emphasise natural movement
That’s where the horse is comfortable, totally relaxed
Mine never did that. Her natural movement was head up.
@@parkerbrown-nesbit1747I think it Varys how they hold their head from horse to horse tbh
a lot of horses bred for things like reining, huntseat, trail (not trail riding), western pleasure, etc naturally carry their heads low
Super
