It was at an amphitheater up by Marysville, and it was a great night of music, though I was heartbroken because he DIDN'T perform this song(my all-time favorite) that night.
Oh yeah.... Y'all killed it!!! The band is amazing and dude, you nailed it big time with the vocals on this one! 🤘 WOW!! Hell you even sound like John when you talk! Lol. Great job y'all.

Brother, (lead singer) you did justice to that tune vocally 🤙🏾🤙🏾 very well done. The rest of the band was impressive! Thanks for sharing. I know its been a few years since this was posted. But, as music is imho, it’s never too late find new good performers. Although, as I’ve mentioned, everyone was great... myself being a bassist, I really liked, and appreciated, your bass player staying close to the original Cougar recording. It is one of the many songs of my youth that I wanted to be among the first songs to learn when I first picked up bass, along with stuff like Hall & Oates “One On One”, Elton John’s “Rocket Man”, Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time”, Frankie Valli’s “Oh What A night”, Jackson Browne’s “Doctor My Eyes” among them... and, pretty much all of ELO’s. Especially, “Last Train To London” and “Living Thing” But, it drives me nuts when I watch a live band and the bass player is doing something way different from the original. Although, I think it’s sweet when it is done close to the original. But, when it’s lazily done it makes me wonder what was that musicians motivation to be in a group setting🤷🏽♂️ Again, huge Mahalo for sharing this live clip! Aloha and stay safe 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Singer can't remember the right lyrics and would make an ok karaoke singer, guitarists can't play the fills, and the drummer missed an important fill in the song. keyboard is NOT a good substitute for mandolin or saxophone. i'll give you an e for effort for trying though.....
