Former Georgia police officer accused of concealing 16-year-old girl's death

- The remains of 16-year-old Susana Morales were found last week near the Gwinnett and Barrow County line. Gwinnett County Police announced the arrest and charging of a now former Doraville police officer.

That's definitely a possibility. She is also a 16 year old minor with a six year age difference and even if hypothetically she was an adult of consenting age of 18 or older he still couldn't get legal consent if he was acting in the capacity of a law enforcement officer while interacting with her .

I agree! Especially since the suspect is a former police officer. Was he terminated before becoming a suspect? I'm just watching closely to see how transparent law enforcement officials will be. It also makes me wonder how many women have been killed by police or former police in our state

cant help to wonder..how many other girls or women have been exposed to this man..if he was able to carry on for 6 months with no remorse who's to say he hasn't done it more times...i remember when susana disappeared there were other girls that went missing in the area...hope he gets life no parole

Why do they keep leaving out sterling glen? he was employed by the apartment complex where the girl went missing? I used to live on that property last year he did security there so he would most likely see the little girl everyday.

I’m still trying to figure out how is he tied to her , how would they know if i didn’t report her missing or responsible for her death? What connection did they have if they had any? Text messages? Phone calls? Prior arrest? They didn’t mention any type of communication or connection between the too. Don’t be quick to point fingers , especially if we only know what is being told to us. Innocent people take the punishment for guilty ones all the time , relax and wait for more details people

Sometimes the police know things and don't put them out. One reason could be for future jury to not be tainted by the news other reasons is to get the accused to slip up and mention something that wasn't public knowledge that only investors or the murder would know
