a top tip given to me recently was to put a plastic bag up and over the old oil filter before you finally unscrew it so that when you remove it the oil doesn't drop down everywhere.

Great Video Amy! One small tip for you in relation to the fuel filter, when your replacing it next time put a small smear of grease on the Rubber seal, makes life easier when changing them!

Good job. Been a technician for 15 years always thought it would be a good idea to pour a little fresh oil into the engine to flush the old but no one ever does. Proper job 👍 love the funny noise the ABS unit makes, could hear it when you were by the filter, mine does it too.

Must admit this is the first time I have heard this, despite there being a lot of sense in it. Will give it a whirl next oil change. Even "old dogs" can learn something. Thanks for the Video Amy.

Very nice. Just did the same routine yesterday.
Next, greasing the transmission shaft and checking the transfer box and gear box levels. And also checking the brakes - caliper, pads, etc....

Great video. I have just bought my Td5 Disco so will be following your videos :-) Also to mention, which i know you added already as a comment to wear gloves. Gloves are recommended for any time you will come in to contact with old engine oil as it can cause cancer. So dont get it on your skin on a regular basis. :-)

Nice video. Great to see a woman doing some mechanics. I don’t mean that in a sexist way. If I may suggest that next time you change the fuel filter you first fill it with diesel it makes the bleeding process quicker.
    Nice color too

Did you have an article on this Disco by Land Rover Owner International? 'Cos it looks familiar. Well done, you must wear gloves though and check the intercooler pipes for oil because the turbo looks suspiciously oily. Oil seals went on mine. Having just noticed the upload date on this, you've probably fixed it already!

Do you replace the Rotor filter at every service or every other? What is the quality issue with the genuine oil filters?
Worth getting a Vac on the Air Filter housing.
Only just found you on youtube but followed your Insta for a long time. Keep up the good work and nice to put a voice to the face.
