2:17 That's why I love the washitapeshop, super high quality, super nice attention to detail. The amount of typos, bad grammar, and outright gibberish sentences on most washi rollls from elsewhere is just ridiculous. I've thrown out so many because of this :( Love the botanical one from WT, they have actual proper descriptions of flowers and matching flower stickers on another roll in the same set. Simply fabulous 😍

What I like about this is, it takes you off your Smartphone. Your planner is yours! Not from Facebook or any other social media. And it gives the focus to start your day. The only problem could be, when you forget to use your planner. There is no reminder bell 🔔 on it. But with the washi tapes it makes you more attached to your planner. It’s fun stuff🤔Thank you😊👍❤️

I really liked the tipping in of the washi tape where it looks like there's a sticky note! I'm writing my gf a notebook of poems and want to annotate their meanings to me and this is a great way to still write in the journal but make it pop out!

This gave me so much inspiration and the washi from that shop seems so versatile. Another technique is to make your own planner tabs using normal page tabs that you get from the office supply store and wrapping them with washi. - I learned this from lindseyscribbles channel. :)

For easier cutting of washi tape that comes without backing paper, I like to hang onto the empty backing from sticker sheets or other washi tapes. Stick on the „unbacked“ washi, fuzzy cut, done 😊
edit: waxy kinds of paper or plastic wrappings should also work just fine, although I‘ve never tried that myself.

As a geographer I love the map washi tapes. The sticker set is also nice. However I am broke. I love this crumple method. I love watching videos like this, however I fear bulking up my planner and/or journal. So I use it so sparingly. I used washi tape as a decorative element on office supply things. Like the paper box organizers. I will run washi on the edges to give them some design besides boring black or white

I've found cheap versions of washi tape at Dollar General. It's not a great product, but it works. Search in the clearance sections in craft stores. Usually, Michael has sticker books.
