I absolutely love this Barbie doll heaven ❤️😍 but I also absolutely LOVE to see a husband being so supportive and involved in this lovely hobby that unfortunately not everyone understand and sometimes even judge us without having any reasonable opinions on why. Anyway this makes me so incredibly happy to see this gorgeous doll heaven in a beautiful home with a beautiful couple that shows fully support and clearly finds so much happiness to see her smiling face. But to also have a significant other that not only are knowledge of all the joy this hobby and collection is giving her soul and how meaningful it is. Because he is completely embracing it and even being so much invested he build the displays, light's ect to create the most stunning Gallery Barbie world for his wife 💕😍❤️🙏 that is just one of the most sweetest beautiful things ever 💕😍

This is the firsts barbie collection with a lot of pieces and you are giving respect to each one, amazing display, I really hate not organized collection
Yes, unorganized is frustrating but in many cases just impossible. You want the pieces even if you don't have space. We all dream of the opportunity to one day have desired footage. I'm blessed in my late 40s to finally have it. My husband would tell me it's the journey getting there. He was so right

I think MOD was/is a short version of Modern back in the late 1960s.
My favorite era of Barbie is from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s. That’s when me and my sister played with Barbies. We had a huge collection of Barbie dolls and their clothes. We had them stored in their carrying cases and boxes under our beds. Later one time when we went to get them out, they were gone! My Mom was notorious for just throwing our stuff away. So we believe she is the culprit. I have been traumatized ever since! ( Our Great Aunt would buy them for us, and when we were asleep our Mom would throw them away. 😢)
So sad. I totally understand.

I absolutely love this! I want to thank you both for sharing your gallery with me, and I especially would really like to thank you for this describing Barbies for me. I am a totally blind person, and I have been collecting Barbies for a long time now. I really love the 60s more so and the 70s are really cool as well. Those are the two decades I really prefer most.

I have been a doll collector for years, but I don’t know if I will ever really be able to do as well as you and others I have heard. My dream is to have a partner that is cited of course, and that can really help me organize the dolls. I hope to have someone who loves dolls like myself. My husband is blind as well.

Congratulation wow your partner did an amazing job on your Barbie room I love it so much, my partner is a Star Wars fan and Collector as well. Between us both we two are running out of room. We have a 4 car garage that we converted into our toy rooms but only use half as we still need an office and I have a dressing room in another section. We are going to re do our room to fit more. Thanks for sharing your collection is amazing! I'm about your age and have loved them all my life. I have a collection in 2 cases in my house. Some people think its crazy, but it makes me happy to remember being a kid. They are so fun to display. My sis had the Fashsion Plaza, its in a box. I wish I had a entire room like you. I also loved Malibu, she was my 1st Barbie and also the Mego dolls from the 70s Farrah and Cher glamour dolls. Superstar was so exciting, like she was going to a Disco!

I agree the new Barbie is not like the 70’s. I loved Barbie and it seems the imagination is gone on design. Everything is pink and purple. I liked more realistic backgrounds then they offer now. I had the Superstar motorhome and Townhouse. My daughter loved them.

I know this is a old video but i found it, and you have a couple of barbies in your cpllection that i had when i was young, I had crystal barbie, peaches and cream barbie and a couple more that i cant remeber there names. Your collection is epic and i really had some fun memories come back when i saw your barbies so thankyou.

Mod is only in the mid 1960's to 1970. Mod fazed out by 1972 and disco started to appear. Mod simply means modern. The Francie Fairchild doll, Barbie's Mod British cousin, was one of the first Mod dolls to come out in 1965 while Barbie was still in the same style as the number six. I had the very first Barbie as a very young child. I received her in 1959 for Christmas.

This Barbie room is INSANELY gorgeous! Loving the husband's genuine interest in the dolls and their history. Mod is essentially just short for modern, but it was just the style of clothes. I call the mod era the "groovy" era lol makes more sense

Lovely collection-your room is great! There are probably 100's of books about collecting Barbie -you would have fun looking at them and learning a timeline for your collection. I enjoy learning about what I collect-and also like to fix sad dolls up to look beautiful again!

We love our collections but like you, we are not all knowing about either. We just have fun with them. I have to rotate what's on display as I don't have have much space. these are all so beautiful, I had a barbie but my father accidentally threw her away she was in a McDonald's bag I was little like third grade we were on a greyhound bus going to Texas I remember the little pink radio my parents never bought me another barbie later on in the fifth grade my neighbor was moving and they were throwing out stuff n I seen she had tossed a barbie into the trash I asked if I could have her n she said yeah so I got her out of the trash cleaned her up her hair had been chopped off and I fixed it made her clothes with old socks then I out grew her at the age of seventeen I gave her to my niece and my sister lost her when they moved. now I'm obsessed with barbie again.
