I have just bought some soft plastic crew for a 1/72 T28 and now you have me looking at magic sculpt to try and make some ! Thanks again you continue to inspire . Regards Gav.
Taking a break from the Tirpitz? ;) This is amazing work - "I couldn't find 1/72 US Tanker figures that I liked... so I sculpted my own." Superb skill, and in the braille scale too. Must have taken a while to do, but amazing work throughout. Very inspiring video - can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Once again, amazing, you inspire me so much, I haven't uploaded for over a month but after seeing this, I want to get back into modelling. You're great, love seeing your professional quality :D
Wow ! That turned out great! I especially liked the epoxy molding, tarps & barbed wire.. unreal ! My only constructive criticism is the "D-32" decal covering the pistol port on the left side and the open hatch interior tops not being an off white or seafoam green. Again this was great nonetheless! Hope to get to this skill level some day! Also hope to see more ground vehicles in-between ship builds from you
Bonjour, génial les bâches technique que je retiendrais. Merci pour le partage de ton savoir, qui doit aider pal mal de personnes. Hello, awesome technical tarpaulins that I remember. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, which must help a lot of people.
the hand sculpted figure looks so much more realistic. One thing i really don't like is the featureless pastel washed finish on most figures, wool uniforms don't have a smooth plastic finish, so i would say that your sculpted figure looks miles better than kit made ones. Nice work
After snooping around and lurking in the background, I’ve noticed that you will make a Montana after the Tirpitz. First thing in my mind is “YES, YES, YES, YES” then I’ve realized that you will exhausted yourself to it. So my advice is take some time to build something simply and easy to relaxed yourself, try not to over work. I really love your vid and build. Commented with regard from Vietnam
I have to build Iowa, then I can buy new ship, my wife's order that I can't reject. I would love to make Montana, lovely big ship, it is very unfortunate that my wife doesn't share my feeling about Montana. I will build Montana someday, but I can't tell when. Thank you for the comment. From Korea.
I've tried spraying a gloss coat out of my airbrush but it came out all white and looked like a spider web. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix that?
If you did that recently, like one or two weeks or so, try spraying the thinner you used for the gloss coat. If you did while ago, it may not work, but you should try first. If it doesn't work, well.. you probably remove whole paint and paint again.
@@EbroinSong Thanks Ebroin. Sometimes it's important for me how long a build really takes before I decide to take it on. Watching a 20 or 30 minute complete build video makes the build look easier than it might really be, so I like to know what I'm gonna get into before I start. I'm loving your videos man so thanks again.
Hi. I am making this kit now. Before that, I had looked your vlog on this kit several times. I came across a problem when making the suspension sets. They didn't fit at all. Any advice for me? Thanks.
That was amazing mate I loved it... always love watching you sculpt. I have your ss grenadier figure still to paint, but if you sold some 1/72 tankers I would buy them too 😎. do you think you could produce in house?. Would you ever sculpt Adolf? I would like to get busts of all ww2 leaders but I think people are too afraid to sculpt him.
Thank you for loving it =) I am thinking about selling some small figures, but I can't produce for now because I don't have the machine and I don't have room for the machine. I probably never sculpt Adolf, because no company wants his bust. People in some counties are very sensitive about his images.
@@EbroinSongthats great to know but i understand about tooling it is quite expensive. My country has no issue with him hes on tv all day I do not know how much you charge for a commission but if we could come to an agreement on price. Is he someone you willing to sculpt? You've made several errors with your Sherman tank, I hope you're not offended by these corrections, but the device on the front of the tank was not a plow, it was called the Hedgehog, sometimes referred to as a rhinoceros. These were used to plow through the hedgerows in Europe after the invasion of Normandy. Also, a Sherman crew would never leave their 50 caliber machine gun lying on the rear of their tank tie down by rope as this was a very valuable anti-aircraft and anti-personnel weapon. Also, the additional tracks that were on Sherman's, you placed upside down, the teeth always faced out. Also, I don't know of a single instance where a Sherman tank was camouflage during World War II in the European theater.
1. Plow. It's most likely called "Culin's hedgerow cutter," not "Hedgehog." Hedgehog is more like another nick name. It was improvise devices that are made by soldier on the the field. So it has no formal name or numbering. I really didn't think there is a guy who wants to point this out. OK, normally tankers don't remove the machine gun from its mount and place it on the deck. The .50 BMG was attached to a flexible AA mount on the turret in a way that you had to be out of the tank to even use it, so it's no big stretch that it would laid aside while crashing through hedge rows ect... It wasn't all that useful in many situations. In the majority of WWII photos I have seen, it's not mounted.
The detail you put on that you didn't know the name of is a clamp for the steel cable that the crew can attach their kit to, and when you were working on the driver's hatch, you misspelled periscope
