Thanks for the video! I really need to remove that front guard thing and that is how I ended up here at this video. Now I know its possible. :)
Mine just fell off 😉
So how did u remove it? Thanks
@@ozbizbozzle portable grinder, removed the "studs" on one side.
@@PerHeld ok thanks
@@ozbizbozzle wrote it below already: Best you buy a Oregon sword (is this the right word?) Oregon 084MLEA04 for around 20€
It is a bit longer and fits even with the original chain. I did it too and it works superb. There is a yt video somewhere so just google
great video, loved the ending
Thanks👍👍🇬🇧
just for info. i use the bosch batteries for my gardening business. the copy bats have out lasted the originals and half the price
That's good going, fire risk from copies is worth taking in to consideration as well.
Which ones did you get?
@@Fizzoid is that to me?
@@nonamegiven2024 yeah, be interested to know which ones you use if you’ve found good ones
What tool did you use for sharpening?
Seems like the correct file would be 4.5mm diameter for this chain, which is a bit of an unusual size..
Think it was a 4 or 4.5mm know the size was a weird one when i checked.
How do u remove the nose guard? Mine is riveted on. Thanks
Weirdly it just fell off😂
Drill the rivets out with a metal drill bit. Make sure you center punch them first
Thank you!@@deidjera
Salve ho una domanda in merito alla sega Bosch volevo sapere come si leva la protezione davanti alla lama grazie
Buy the 4 ah power plus battery. There stonger than normal 5 and 6Ah
Switch to Makita top handle, game changer
Did the saw work well for you?
Its good for smaller stuff and being low revs it has little or no chance of kick back.
Hello my friend. I have a little question. I have GBA 18v 2.0Ah M-8 batteries. I do not know if they will fit in the Bosch UniversalChain 18V tool... this new tools have a new batteries called "All 18V" where this batteries will fit in all bosch products... my batterie comes from a GSB 18-2 Li plus drill so i do not know if the batterie will fit on the universalchain.
Sorry, not sure on that as no longer have the Athlet cleaners - see last video of the series👍
Is it for the battery u have for the pro blue range? They sell convertors on ebay.
How is the nose bar removed
Mine dropped off.

any idea how to remove the front protection??
Mine weirdly fell off.😉
@@fiveminuteman yes I read it, but I was asking about a different situation. ;-)
@@clemens974 Drill and iron bit!
@@EmileDorvan this worked
Bar oil leaking out and making a mess when on the shelf?
Nope, worx one does that.
mine has a protection/shield at the end of the blade, why is there as it is limitating my work
did you remove yours and how?
Mine fell off😉
Boch do 6 amp batterys, would last even longer
It's tempting 😀👍
I bought new bosch 18 volt batteries and they don’t fit this machine.
They should if they are power4all labelled. I onow the charger is different, but as i understood it the batteries are all the same. Were they Bosche ones?
@@fiveminuteman yes bosch professional. Seems I should have gone for garden or the powerall. This is so stupid from bosch. Will have to send back and re order.
@@dirkschelfhout6460 there is the issue. Bosch professional series are blue tools and won't fit the normal green tools. They are built different and costs way more
Pretty stupid bosch didn't make the better battery's fit,
@@S14AA yes, but on the flip side, the consumer packs are of the power for all alliance, which is supported by multiple brands; Gardena,Flymo,Rapid,Wagner,Gloria. So you can the same battery for multiple products. I have some gardening tools from Gardena and the power tools from boch and share the batteries between all of them
Hi, Your technique of holding the saw with one hand while holding the branch with the other is super dangerous. You don't have adequate control of the saw doing that.....that's how you can seriously hurt yourself. Please, please, don't do that!! Even with slow chain speed it will still be a very bad accident. Much better for your situation to secure the log in a saw horse or similar.
You know the rotation speed is super slow right? You think i would do the same with a petrol saw? Come on.
@@fiveminutemanThe chain is fast enough to cut wood, therefore fast enough to easily cut skin, muscle etc. By using it incorrectly you greatly increase the likelihood of hurting yourself. A simple improvement to your working practice will keep you and your viewers much safer. I've no idea what you'd do with a petrol saw, but the same hazardous exposed chain is present on both.
