Rome has always been an absolute role model, no matter what you think about him being in "Sublime" he's one of the most down to earth guys around. One of the few people in his position that I know takes the time to message people back on social media.

I saw Sublime with Rome at Billy Bob's in Ft.Worth 2024 with my fiance, and after hearing his material I've decided to incorporate Rome- forever into our wedding 💍. Thank you for all you do.
Great Video. I am a Marty Music devotee, I learned to play thanks to you. I urge anyone either learning, or playing, to find someone to play with, my brother in law have been playing together twice a week for about 3 years now. We play along to CD's, or we practice simply playing without the track, challenging ourseleves to follow a beat, together. There are dozens of different things we also practice. The other thing is, just like in this video, we have time to chat, about guitars, music, grandchildren, football(soccer), no religion, no politics. Each of us lost our Dad's in the last couple of years, (both were in their 90's) we work through our grief. You can't put a price on such therapy. Above all, we enjoy playing our guitars. Please, do it if you can,you'll be glad you did. Peace and love to you all.
Love Rome and his vibe, Wicked Heart, Light On and Wherever You go are some of my all time fave songs. Just brilliant, he deserves every success he gets. Thanks for doing this fab interview Marty

I had sublime play with cypress hill for me it was my tenth year doing my tattoo inked hearts in Humboldt county California and Eric was a homie of a homie so that’s how I got the show but Rome was a bit in his ego and had his security on acting like he was a president and I’m like bro I’m not a crazy obsessed fan im the guy that paid 80k for 2 hours and I know one original members!!! So after I said that he realized he was in wrong and then was cooler.

The first time I ever heard Rome was when Sublime did Guitar Center Sessions and he killed it. I've been a fan ever since.
So many Sublime fans refused to give him the proper chance, might be better off now honestly. Insanely talented dude!
