This is such a creative structure! As someone who loves film and books, I absolutely loved this 😍
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
So happy to see Amari on this list! Love that you do this video every year, Tori! 🥂
What a great award ceremony. As a huge fan of middle-grade, I loved seeing Amari as a winner!!! Love this! 😍
Thanks for the recommendations! Very creative format too.
This is such a fun idea! Yay for Warbreaker too, one of my favorites for sure!
I really need to get to Foundryside this year, I have been meaning to read it forever!

Yes! These end of year are always difficult to pull together, but so fun to make 😄 and I love all the Hobb/Light Bringer awards on your list! I can’t wait to get into the Liveship traders in the new year. I really hope you finally get to grace of kings!
This was a really fun premise! I always love hearing you gush about amazing stories 😁
Really love this format! Especially keeping the top ten out of it is like a more exiting way to do honorable mentions; few books can get everything perfect, but that doesn’t mean they can’t get something!
Best booktube channel out there
Loved this Tori, it is so creative!!
Thanks so much Ty!! ❤️❤️
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thank you!
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching 🥹
What a fun video, thanks so much!😊
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you liked it!
One of my favorite videos you've done. I love how you talk about books in a way that really gives me a feel for if I'd enjoy them. It's also fun to hear you gush about your fav books and highlight different books because of different reasons. Love this. Great vibe with the tree, fire, and coffee, too :) Happy Holidays 🎄❤
Aw thank you so much! 🙏🏽 Looking forward to sharing the top 10 soon, and happy holidays to you too!
I love the structure of this video so much! Can’t wait for Fri to see top 10!
Thanks, Amanda!! 🥰
So fun! It is always so bittersweet when a new favorite knocks a book off the top 10 list - that happened to me last year. I always feel sorry for the book that gets booted, but then again its so much fun to find a new stellar book days before the end of the year!
You have made me want to read The Stars Undying!
It’s so good, I hope you give it a try! It may be hit or miss for some, but I think it’s amazing!
This is such a fun format! Loved this video!
Thank you, Jaimee! ❤️
Always so fun to see these awards from you! It's neat to celebrate the standout aspects of books even when as a whole they didn't quite make it to your favorites list.
Thanks, Shannon!! I love filming this one every year! 🥰
Best Creator Award goes to Tori Morrow!! I loved the content, and the best actress was the perfect choice! ❤
That’s so sweet, thank you!! ☺️
Great video! Can't wait to see the top 10 books. 😊
Thank you!! I’m so excited to share it soon 🙌🏽
Such a great video! Immediate new sub :)
Thank you! And welcome to the channel! ❤️
Hi Tori! Great video ❤ hope you are having great holidays 🎄
Currently reading the reformatory and it’s crushing me, great book but very sad 💔
Thank you, Zuzana! I hope you’re having a great holiday season too! And I need to prepare myself for the reformatory 🥲
Thanks Tori, love the Oscars idea and can't wait for your top 10. I'm on a V.E. Schwab tear now, Addie LaRue (5*!), Darker shade of magic, and currently on Vicious. Hope you're having a great holiday
Thanks, Paul! I hope you’re having a great holiday too 🥰 I’m so happy you also enjoyed Addie LaRue!
I think you win the award for the best cinematography for your wonderful, cozy, Christmas backdrop! ❤💚❤️
Aww thank you!! 🥰🎄
Loved this video :) definitely need to pick up witcher :)
I’m so glad you enjoyed Foundryside. I won’t even get into the Interview with the Vampire. I’m due for a reread of that book.
Foundryside was so good 😩 I’m pretty excited to continue the series in the new year! I hope your reread goes well 🙌🏽
"Foundryside" is already on my 10 top book list of the year despite the missing more detailed description of the side characters. Maybe this will be "granted" in the follow-ups?😉 I certainly hope so.
"Amari" is very much loved by me and by my children. They were the ones who convinced me to pick up the book! 😀
Okay I’ve been watching your content for a while now and I think I have a series recommendation you could really like. You mention loving detail and complex politics as well as wholesome and fun characters. So if you’re ever looking for an independent author to read from, I am TOTALLY obsessed with The Destiny Cycle series by Yrsillar. It’s a cultivation story, which I had never read before this, but this one at least includes slice of life type content where the MC is studying and learning at this school for cultivators that feels very cozy. But paired with the cozy, funny, wholesome slice of life, there’s also a ton of politics and extensive quests and battles. It’s based on ancient China and the MC trains alongside spirits and her beast familiar and her best friend is part snake and has the power to make anyone that’s a lower cultivation level than her literally start sweating and feeling terrified any time she looks at them. I just finished book 5 and I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone who really likes detailed fantasy with complex world building and tons of character growth!
Love this video. If you like Amari, give The Marvellers by Dhonielle Clayton a read. Another middle-grade supernatural book that’s a fun read.
Thank you, and I will!
Really liked this one :)
Also it kinda looks like you’re drinking a candle lol
Thank you! And that’s hilarious 😅
I want to start reading sci-fi, where should I start?
JEAN IS THE BEST!!!!!!! MY SON
I love him so much! 😭
