I paid like 130$/set (excl. import charges, excl shipping.. but shipping was like 30$ (not EUR)). How's your experience with those servos since last year?
They still work perfectly fine. Quiet, very fast, can make a 500kg router jump on the floor 😂. Huge difference compared to regular steppers. For the price I think they're pretty good. Only thing that I find a bit problematic is the tuning software which is a bit difficult to understand and tune them properly. But it's certainly doable.
Hi, welcome :). At start I did tune them one by one. Every time a little for one side then adjust the other side and so on. Later I wired up one servo via USB and the other one via RS458 and was able to open the tuning software twice so I could tune them both at the same time. But in general same procedure, just saved a lot of time as I did not have to change the USB from one side to the other.
It is doable. Not very user friendly and there are much better options in this regard but certainly doable. Been running with them quite a long time and personally I am happy with them especially considering the price at the time of purvhase. Nowadays there are more reasonably priced options like original Delta servos for example (with proper autotuning).
It is not connected to any CNC controller. Just driver and the AC servo motor. Servo motors are much quieter than regular steppers. The servo controller is JAND4002-20B from JMC Motion.
Perhaps to clarify the price. ± 200€/set is final price from JMC via alibaba including shipping and import charges for 3 sets.

@@crabsshed thanks for sharing your experience, I'm slowly integrating them into my system here.
