    Great video! Big Sister Souljah reader by the way. I love so many books for so many different reasons. Donald Goins “Black Girl Lost” was one of the first books that got me excited about reading and about people. I read Native Son by Richard Wright probably 4-5 times. The writing definitely took me on the journey. I was watching a documentary the other day with Walter Williams and plan to pick up “Suffer No Fools” but definitely want to read PowerNomics. I have read a couple already but I am intrigued by all of your selections. Thank you

      Same here. I work as a volunteer youth worker in a town in Northern Ireland that is primarily white..... unfortunately it has lead to a small group of white supremacists.... It really has upset me because I thought the my country was past this and I know I am white myself but I will never stop fighting for my brothers and sisters.... It's not about skin colour, gender and/or sexuality that defines who you are, it's about personality and who you are as a human.

    The fact that the Malcolm X book was the bonus is crazy because it was first black history book I’ve ever read.The autobiography of of Malcolm X is what got me into black history and got me into wanting to know the truth outside of the school history books. Thank you for making this video I am going to read all of the books that you recommended 🤍

    the book i hope we write is " I was born by a volcano" which explains the world was made because of a volcano which burned stones and released large amounts of lead and mercury and caused steam to make plants (which before there was light skin people) darker skin people ate which limited our intelligence and after millions of years ice formed (about 8000 years ago) which is where lighter skin people came from, for example Christians came for life 2000 years ago which is how they date their history and if you look into chinese history their history book date to about 8000 years back, and if you review history of people from hawaii and native america , people born beside volcanoes ingested large amounts of mercury and lead which made them believe they were animals, Hopefully we can get 10 people to write one chapter of this each and have someone edit the book at the end and publish it under one name, the reason this topic is important is because we arent discussing this there is a large cult of about 4 million people who are saying blacks came from monkeys and whites made the world in 7 days , all because no one is admitting that the world was made by a volcano that released large amount or lead and mercury

    Thank you for your excellent video, and stay safe and blessed always.
    I shop online at Walmart for home delivery every six months. I have cut off certain foods and drinks etc, due to the prices rising too much. Goodbye red meat and Pepsi, Juices, and the only snack is popcorn popped on my stove.
    My landlord is SUPER greedy, and has gone up on all the added services, and will go up on the rent in November, so after 23 years and 4 management companies, I will move to Acapulco in a studio apartment next to Walmart. I am retired, 79, and cannot afford these high and greedy prices. Why charge me $5 per month for an incorrect rental invoice? $52 dollars for water in an 880 sq ft apartment. Sewage, trash, pest control, heating in a drafty apartment, and old heating units, hot water etc. Adios America, and I am ready for the earthquakes to kill me. I was never attacked in Acapulco, but Chicago was a criminal nightmare.

      @@chriscoursey6112 how did you come at peace within yourself knowing everything you know now? I read Assata’s letter & I’m currently on chapter 5 of Malcolm X’s autobiography, feeling angered a bit.

    • @chriscoursey6112
      @chriscoursey6112  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CamiDaDon I didn't come to peace with myself for a while. For a while, I was angry at the things I learned within those pages. It wasn't until I started reading books like " A Man's Search for Meaning" did things start to become clearer for me. I started focusing more on psychology and books that taught balance. Consider anger a phase along your journey. Keep reading.
