My favorite reoccurring thing on this podcast is either Kendahl or Sarah (or sometimes both!) mentioning a major Adhd or Autism symptom and either being like "that might just be my neurodivergence idk" or being completely unaware that it is in fact a very predominant trait

I'm a 911 dispatcher and I say until it went around the internet I wouldn't have assumed someone calling to order a pizza might be in danger. Surprisingly we get a lot of genuine accidental calls from people trying to call another number. Granted, if someone did call me and say that my first question would be "did you mean to call 911?" And if they say yes I would play along and ask as many yes or no questions I could to try and get as much info as possible. But, I would tell them help was on the way as soon as they let me know there was an emergency before I continued on with the further questions. I know all agencies train people different, but with all my training and years of experience that's what I'd do. Just had to say the whole pizza thing and people saying if you ask for certain toppings dispatchers would know what you were reporting. Don't do that. If you start talking to us like we're someone else and you keep it up like we are who you are talking to, most good trained dispatchers are going to send help and ask you what they can to get the information they need. Love ya gals, even though Sarah shaded me a tad ❤😜
I hate when people want to go shopping. I have an anxiety attack the entire trip and disassociate. I have a comfort look. Plain Black tank and jeans, anything different just causes me to spiral. Lol I have ptsd and anxiety and Autism and my husband has Adhd. Shopping is our shared Hell.

Kind of off topic, but I was reminded of one time I called 911 "accidentally", I think I was maybe 5 or 6? I don't know what got in my head to do it but I did, and freaked out and hung up 😂 they kept calling back and I hung up over and over until finally my grandma answered and explained. The operator was understanding and explained they just had to follow up if they could. I didn't get in trouble but my grandma was like, you can't just dial 911 lol

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to take away from this episode, Britney’s story is one of abuse and provides prescient comments on bodily autonomy of women, more important now than ever. I sort of feel like the message from this is that Britney is weird and her situation is weird, which is pretty diminishing and seems to gloss over the most important parts of the story. Y’all are usually pretty nuanced and capable, this feels like maybe not enough research was done, I’m not sure. Also, your “interviews” are usually entertaining and give a good estimation of these people in real life, but this one seems to indicate you wanted us to focus on whether Britney is real or not? I’m just really not feeling this episode. Love your other stuff.

911 operators are known for being so mean i had too call one a couple years ago for a very traumatic event and i don’t remember much from thag day but i remember feeling small and like i was wasting that woman’s time will i was having a legit breakdown over something i need cops for like i never want too call 911 agian there has too be a way too train these people too have some compassion while on the call
