*Very underrated car, especially here in the USA, but AMC did a terrible job of marketing the Renault products with the exception of the Renault Alliance/Encore.*

I was 16 when these came out. I remember Car and Driver magazine ripping it apart. Lol. It was way underpowered based off memory. I would take a wagon tho. Lol

I don't ever remember this car. Going by current Nissan models being total pieces of crap since their merger with Reino it doesn't surprise me that there are none of these left on the road however I don't ever remember seeing a single one. The eagle Premier yes but never The Medallion.

It also doesn't help that the Medallion was only available for two years (1988 and 1989).

This was a bad car the axles always break and it overheats a lot my cousin has a 1988 in 1991 it was a piece of shit he had to trade it for a ford escort wagon

A friend of mine had a medallion with a 5 speed. Minus the spongy breaks- it handled like a comparable Accord.

@@doggman9795 agreed my mom had a dark gray one and had a lot of issues. She traded it for a Dodge Shadow.

I had an Eagle Premier that looks exactly like this "Medallion". My father bid on it for me in 1995. It was my first car. And didn't last me long🤣

Check the oil with each fillup. This is best done with the engine cold.
