Sir my father had a CNVM so as suggested by doctor they had taken 1st dose of anti VRGF (Avastin )in both eye and doctor said need of 3 dose are required so can u tell me is these injection efficient??
sir why my CNVM occurs again and again although i used to have injections regularly. And why this cnvm in left why when occurs it changes its position which i can see in OCT clearly. Initially it started far left from central vision and now it occurred at central vision this time.
CNVM have a tendency to have recurrences. Injections help control it's spread and reduce the activity. You can discuss the option of PDT (photodynamic therapy) with your doctor. CNVM can involve greater area of retina and can start in different areas. You should maintain regular follow up and get injections without delay to protect your vision.

Thank you Sir for valuable advice. I am suffering BRVO in right eye since Nov. 2020. I completed my course of three injections ANTIVEGF till January 2021 and I got my vision 6/6 back . But in April 2021 in follow up check up, it is found that there is swelling again in Ratina. I am not a diabetic patient, regularly checks my B/ P level which is under control, taking properly daily tab for B/P, calastrol level is OK, SERUM HOMOSESTINE LEVEL is 13 then what can be the reason for again swelling in ratina after 2 months of proper treatment. Yes, single dose antiVEGF injections do cost around this much. Most of the cost goes to the drug company. It is covered in insurance, but only for some specific policies, you should discuss with your insurance agent.

It must be Ozurdex. Yes it's a good injection. They must monitor your eye pressure after the implant and you should also know why the swelling in retina has happened.

Sir, Namaskar, my daughter aged 16 has taken EYLEA injection as advised & prescribed by the doctor on 13th April,2021 at 9.00 AM, But after even 36 hrs past she is feeling some cloudy vision on the injected eye and a little pain also. Pl advise about the post symptoms of the injection & your suggestion.
Please be patient. The injection effect will take atleast two weeks to show any change in vision. Sometimes may take upto a month. Just keep regular follow up.

I donot recommend Pagenax (Brolucizumab / Beovu) injection to my patients as there have been reports of adverse reaction in the eye. They had to stop trials midway in the US.

What is the cost for one injection?
sir why my CNVM occurs again and again although i used to have injections regularly. And why this cnvm in left why when occurs it changes its position which i can see in OCT clearly. Initially it started far left from central vision and now it occurred at central vision this time.
CNVM have a tendency to have recurrences. Injections help control it's spread and reduce the activity.
You can discuss the option of PDT (photodynamic therapy) with your doctor.
CNVM can involve greater area of retina and can start in different areas.
You should maintain regular follow up and get injections without delay to protect your vision.

Thank you Sir for valuable advice. I am suffering BRVO in right eye since Nov. 2020. I completed my course of three injections ANTIVEGF till January 2021 and I got my vision 6/6 back . But in April 2021 in follow up check up, it is found that there is swelling again in Ratina. I am not a diabetic patient, regularly checks my B/ P level which is under control, taking properly daily tab for B/P, calastrol level is OK, SERUM HOMOSESTINE LEVEL is 13 then what can be the reason for again swelling in ratina after 2 months of proper treatment. Sir, please guide me for causes of this. What can I do to avoid the swelling in ratina. Sir I am waiting for your advice.

Sir, Namaskar, my daughter aged 16 has taken EYLEA injection as advised & prescribed by the doctor on 13th April,2021 at 9.00 AM, But after even 36 hrs past she is feeling some cloudy vision on the injected eye and a little pain also. Pl advise about the post symptoms of the injection & your suggestion.
Please be patient. The injection effect will take atleast two weeks to show any change in vision. Sometimes may take upto a month. Just keep regular follow up.

This is a very individualised treatment. For every patient we have to personalise the treatment. But in general I prefer Laser PRP treatment (2-3 sittings) for proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

I donot recommend Pagenax (Brolucizumab / Beovu) injection to my patients as there have been reports of adverse reaction in the eye.
They had to stop trials midway in the US.

IUTA or O2wden implant TA which one is better??? Aakh me retina operation ke bad Sujan hai to doctor ne in dono mese ek injection choose karne ko bola hai...ek ka cost 32500 hai or dusre ka 3000 bataya hai doctor ne...need your advise sir
I prefer Ozurdex for my patients if cost is not an issue for them. Otherwise IVTA is also good.
