Jared Padalecki (Supernatural, Gilmore Girls) joins me this week to reflect on his SP Family and rollercoaster that these last 15 years have been. Jared shares the emotions he’s had during some of the “last” moments while shooting the final episodes and talks about not wanting the ride to end, for good. We also talk about self fulfilling prophecies with anxiety and depression, Jared’s newfound respect for his wife after fathering during quarantine, and what exactly led to his arrest a few months back. Oh!! That was a great podcast, I'll have to listen to the whole session.
I'm definitely borrowing that strategy from Jared P, for my anxiety (& PTSD & Endometriosis pain & damn insomnia etc) and go ahead and reframe my experience and my reaction to it all.
Of course pain and discomfort happen, but it ends eventually.
I will definitely have a go at it. Identifying to myself as 'someone who suffers', doesn't actually improve my Life anymore.
I acknowledged ages AGO, that my Life had a healthy dose of suffering in it. I don't need to keep doing that.
