Same here. Them and ctenophores are the REAL aliens. Why is everyone looking into space and MAKE UP some otherworldly critters? When you can look into our oceans and find real ones
I could literally watch this kind of stuff for hours! It's absolutely fascinating to see and learn what new types of bizarre animals are in the ocean depths. Thank you.
Watching the ways of propulsion of the different creatures is mesmerizing. Some, like the ctenophore, move in ways I can't fathom. while the sea spider looks like an old cartoon of a galloping horse!
I'm grateful not only for the outstanding visuals of deep sea creatures here at DSO, but also for the ambient music which heightens my emotional reaction to the clips.. *Perfect symbiosis!* 🎵🦞 So it was great news to read on the latest community post that Rob Endraus is releasing some of his tracks as singles! I'll be savouring this extra long vid.. Always appreciate the content.. many, many thanks to my beloved DSO and talented musicians.. 💚🦑
We must appear like UFOs to them. Imagine spending your whole life in little to no light then one day a big ass machine with bright lights floats out of the sky to focus those lights on you 👁👁
Crazy to think that there are thousands, millions, or billions of each species just down there. Alone. Living. Without knowing anything else. And we barely know about them
Makes me wonder how the oceans floor topography has changed over the eons and the creatures that inhabit them. Certainly the most adaptive sea creatures were able to live at the deepest depths, largely undisturbed through time. I hope as human technology allows them to dive even deeper, that we don't destroy their ecosystem like we have up on earth. 💜🦑💚
Wow wow spectacular !! Look at the intricate details of each and every creature and imagine that the creator of the entire universe made it all! My mind is blown completely !!
I've been fascinated by deep sea critters since I would get the plastic ones found in cereal boxes as prizes back in the 60s. My favorite was the oarfish.
@@anthonychihuahua actually octopi comes from the misconception that octopus is a latin word when its actually greek, so the correct plural is Octopuses ;) keep squidin'
17:11 wow. I didn't knew that this species of ctenophore has those appendages or tentacles or what ever this is. I LOVE your channel, because for a normal human being like I am, it's nearly impossible to see such paradises in live. I mean, does someone of y'all know someone who has a sub which can go that deep? Oh and IF you know s/o are you allowed to dive with it?
I believe that octopuses are aliens and they are guarding the alien underground bases. They are way smarter than humans and do NOT look like anything from this planet. I believe they are alien security guards LOL 🐙guarding the alien bases 👽🛸🐙

Are the first octopus' arms especially long or is it just the way it's moving with such outstretched limbs ? And is that a small squid that swims by,if so do you know what kind ? And on the second octopus is that behavior seen often with one outstretched arm ? Do they think it's a hunting technique ?
Is it normal for there to be so few ocean animals in an area? You would think there would at least pairs swimming around together or even other breeds.
The deep sea is a barren and endless place. Most creatures are always on the move because food is scarse. Also we have to explore at the right time and in the right location. Getting a glimpse of these creatures is pure luck.
1:11:42 I always asked myself something. Siphonophores are colonial beings, that's something I know. When you look at any Siphonophore they look at different at their ends. So the top doesn't look like the bottom. Are ALL them small beings the same, or are they different species which come together to form a siphonophore?
As we watch these beautiful creatures, big oil is working on how to exploit their home. The only way I can think of to protect them is a UN declaration that they are World Heritage Sites…not holding my breath.
An hour and a half of DeepseaOddities?
Going into the favorites and sleep playlists!

I just recently learned about Siphonophores. It's hard to imagine that it's a colony of countless organisms rather than just a big one.
1 HOUR DEEP SEA ODDETIES LETS GOOO
Well! I certainly didn't want to sleep tonight, so let's watch more horrors from the deep!
Octopuses 🐙 (3 different ones)

Had no idea that swordfish go down that deep, i guess them having big eyes didn't make my brain think differently.
Love the music at 1:14:00.…. hauntingly beautiful!
Imagine going to the bottoms of the ocean, and then waking an octopus up out of its sleep for "science" 😂😂😂
No wonder the aliens won't talk to us lol
What I wouldn't give to be a deep sea explorer...

I think some of these were blurred because of copyright claims.
They grow up so fast
Why is scale worm blurred out?.
the animal looks like trump's peenits
Predator tunicate. Aquaria's creators did a reference on this animals in a location of Aquaria
If this doesn't calm your soul nothing will...
Why's the worm blurred out?
Ate those laser points always 10cm apart?

It would have been nice if this had some narration about these finds. I guess they don't know anything about them or how they live.
