Man on fire, you could feel the love he had for and expressed on screen. Apart from being a really good movie, there was a lot of real sentiment there.

Maybe it was just me but this movie had no stakes it was so easy for the main character to kill everyone at least make him struggle to feel a bit more human like John Wick movies which while over the top you can see the characters going through a rough time in these movies he is just way to overpowered still entertaining movie but I wish the villain was like the 1st movie where he was smarter and provided a bit more challenge this just felt stupid we are going to leave and come back tomorrow when in real life they would of just killed him right there when the boss had the gun pointed at him.
Watched it on the 1st of Sept in cinema for my husband's bday. Wish it was a 4 hour film. Still the best. I love Denzel. My husband watched 1 & 2 many times over and will watch the 3 many times over once it's available online.

Denzel Truly was Man on Fire in his 3rd Outing as Robert McCall with Dakota Fanning who was in the 2004 Action Thriller with Washington,Wow 19 years later and Dakota has grown up fast .Both are perfect in this .
It had elements of man on fire... Was almost like they were continuing from there and now he's guiding her further now she's grown up (in the film) as an agent. Brilliant powerful ending..
Denzel you rock mate! There will never be another you. Although maybe Idris Elba could pick up where you left off after EQ3. You are an absolute superstar in every way ⭐️

Wow, 20 years ago, wasn't thinking about that when I saw the Equalizer previews showing Dakota and Denzel together. I don't know how the fight scenes are put together for The Equalizer, but whoever choreographs them does an amazing job making Denzel look like he can do what he does on screen. He seems to be a natural at action / fight scenes, which is very obvious when you see terrible fight scenes in other movies.

The Taking of Pelham 123 is one of Denzel's best films, I loved him and Travolta in that such a good pairing for a thriller like that.
