Great video though I believe it's a flashlight not a scope, as an army brat I've had many of those flashlights over the years, they have that design so you can hook it onto your rig and have it light the way in front of you hands free.

The releases this year from classified have been a significant improvement over an already strong action figure line. They found a good balance between modern design and classic looks, and put budget where it matters against pinless joints, accessories and paint. Great review, posing and photography as always.
This is probably one of Hasbro's best work for the classified series. The sculpts, the musculature, the paintwork, and the overall look/design is truly amazing! A really solid action figure!
It is a military flash light...we had them when I was in the Army...not sure if they are still being used today. Lenses can be added to change the color of the light. Great Review as always!
I'm beyond ready for Oldman Outback. I've had him on pre order with target and thankfully no cancelation yet, hoping it stays that way! Your posts on your story and Twitter make all kinds of excited for this figure! Glad you enjoy him D!
I hope Target ships these Tiger Force and Python Patrol figures soon. They are the only Classified Joes I've preordered last year that haven't been delivered yet. It's obvious that the figures are already in the US and most likely already shipped from Hasbro to Target. Not sure why they are sitting on their stock and not fulfilling preorders.
Great review. Your pics are the best. Btw the scope you mentioned is actually more likely a flashlight. My dad had one that looked just like it when he served and even i was issued one when i first joined many many moons ago. Even my firefighter flashlight has that L shape. Its makes it easier to clip to my coat and then i can still use it with having to take it off. Also another cool thing about the shovel is they are often serrated on one side so they aren't only great tools but they can also be used as a weapon like an axe.

Hey D Amazing, I hate to admit that I’m new to your reviews but absolutely love your work, so good, so concise yet laid back and always showing such praise for the figs rather than being overly critical and pulling them apart. You get what you get for this kind of price point and I feel that you’re always very mindful of that. Although I haven’t really watched any videos of you reviewing imports etc which may be slightly different. I only collect Marvel Legends, Joe’s and Black Series so that’s all I can really comment on. I absolutely adore this figure. Apart from the backpack, it’s not a firm fit. But I regard him as Outback Senior in my head canon. He’s a tough as nails survivalist but he also wears flamboyant bright tshirts because he gives zero f’s if you see him coming, he’ll get you regardless.

I never had this version of Outback as a kid , I had the regular release with the red hair and white shirt , it was one of my favorite Joe's.. I broke the gun handle as soon as I opened it , so my outback was always using other Joes weapons as hand me downs.. I have this Tiger Force Outback figure on pre order , and will get the red head one as well.. ..
Ok on the bottom of pistol is either a red dot sight or flash light. The item you called a scope is flash. The lens on it can be changed out. The reason you may change color is due to operation. No danger then clear light would be fine. Sometimes it's always best to use a red lens.
Fav GI Joe figure. Had the original, pre ordered this from Hasbro as soon as it went up! Love it! 2 things. It’s not a scope it’s a torch if I remember from the original and change your aperture on your camera to f8 bump up the lights and then you’ll be in focus when you move the figure around, or put it on continuous focus and it will focus every time you move 👍🏻
Have preordered with Target. Along with Bazooka and the Tiger Ram. Think thats my Fav part on many of the classified line is you can have full weapon storage with the majority of them. Which does make since. Little retooling I can see the Outback head being used for a Rock n Roll easy. Think this head with Blonde hair.

Your scope would be a flashlight. Military issue. You can change the lens on it to different colors. Cool light. Not sure if they are still used but had one when I was a kid.
Awesome video. Don't know if it has been said but when you order from Target they are like one of the only companies to constantly charge the card you use. The charge will drop and they will do it again. After a bit your card company will think that it is fraud and block the charge when they do that Target will cancel the order. The only way to stop it is to contact your card provider and give them the charges and let them know why it keeps charging. Also if you can get a Target Red card it will not do that and also it will give you free shipping on that card. Just for the future.
I love this character. If you want to have fun build a bug out bag for yourself. Glock makes a awesome knife and shovel that folds. Get a medical kit. Find some flashlights. Rope. Camping meals. Lighters, matches. Multi tool. Build a Outback survival bag. It’s a rabbit hole but kinda fun.

That background is incredible! Did you 3D print that or buy it/build it? Great review. I wasn't originally going to get this figure, but Hasbro Pulse put him back up a week ago and I took advantage. I do like his older look. What I like is that he is so close to being a "deluxe" grade figure with all his original-sculpt accessories, no borrowing. I know some parts of his body are new sculpt too. Now that he is on the way, I am already formulating new photoshoots with him. :)

I can’t wait for this figure… if target doesn’t cancel it again. Also the Larry Hama run of 300+ issues is awesome. I also love the Mike Costa and Chuck Dixon run. My favorite Hama issues are 61-67 and SM 6, the POW story.
That primary weapon looks like a SBR, based on the AR-15, which is ok but if Hasbro wanted to be authentic, they would've given him his old HK G-33 with the stock removed (unless the railcover is a different design, and it is in fact, a G-33). Aside from that, an excellent video review. 👍👍👍👍👍
It's the basic torch you get issued in bct, well, they gave us like 25 or 30 dollars on the... I wanna say americard? And bought them at th PX along with the PT snickers. The handgun has a laser sight on the bottom. Also, we called them e-tools (entrenchment tool) , not shovels, same shit though.
I've seen a few of your videos. You are a natural at posing figures. I would strongly recommend that you create a portfolio of your best picks and send them to Hasbro. You could probably land your dream job! :)
How is it that Hasbro is able to give "realistic" weapons for the G.I. Joe Classified series but for Marvel Legends most of the time is sci-fi weapons?

Yeah, those are old school flashlights. I think they even came with different colored lense filters to preserve night vision.

This figure is awesome. I was lucky to find him at TRU recently when I found Croc Master. There were only 2 Outbacks.

The carabine is probably fictitious, but it's basically an short barrel M4 or a colt commando if you wana get more 80s with it.
