Gukesh is on 30 games unbeaten streak.... Arjun has live rating of 2791.... India is the only team in which no one lost a single game in this Olympiad (18 wins 6 draws) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@YesPlease1 Arjun means bright/shiny. The name is famous because of the celebrated warrior of Mahabharat, the third Pandava Arjuna. The peerless archer.
man having Arjun the 2600+ GMs destroyer is extremely good for India. pragg and gukesh are extremely experienced with playing classical against the very top while Arjun has climbed to an insane rating while defeating countless players taking a big risk in every match as he has a higher rating than then. India HAS to win it.
Everyone is great in own way .... Pragg playing at board 2 had to face top rated player like legend Peter leko so drawing the game is best thing he is doing there....

Every single thing in Bharat is even more competitive nowadays than 30 years back, and even then it was not a cakewalk. I have a masters in Computer Engg, but doing law as a 49 year old in a good law school in Pune, India, and I can see that the quality and caliber of the 20 years old students today is higher than before. All good.
Yes, he is an outstanding player with very dynamic chess. But, off the board very mild mannered and very generous. He donated large sums of his prize money since his teens for charitable purposes. This quality is very rarely found in the youngsters of this generation. Arjun a great player on the board and a wonderful person off the board.
The current Indian Men's and Ladies' teams can be compared the Soviet chess teams in the past. They are just too strong and they play with the same consistency as the Chinese team used to.
Like Bobby Fischer used to say, the overuse of chess theory has made the game mechanical. Whoever has the greater recall wins. It's a memory sport now. 😮😢
The elite players are playing opening lines that were widely played in the late 1800's! Later on, players like Bronstein and Smyslov, who had studied the games of the great Masters of the late 19th Century, would play this themselves in their games.
great game Arjun! I hope team members are carrying hand sanitizer. The opposition player touched or cleaned his nose twice before shaking hands with Arjun at resignation.
The variation Arjun played is the Steinitz Defense Deferred (which includes 3....a6). The regular Steinitz Defense occurs when Black plays ....d6 on move 3, instead of 3....a6.
At 18:16, Sanan Sjugirov presses the clock twice and that gives him a minute (30 secs + 30 secs) increment instead of the regular 30 secs increment. In an international game like this, this is quite shocking.
Gukesh won the candidate fair and square , he deserves to play the world championship.. Arjun is better from right now..maybe he can win the candidates and it will be India vs India in next championship
Sanan has option to move ne5 is a better move instant of Kd2, white moves Ne5 and give check and win a pawn but sanan plays Kd2 while sanan plays kd2 after arjun moves his bishop and that squares
I wish the video guy would stop calling super gm’s a monster. They are not monsters. Please show some respect. It’s unfortunate that nowadays people will do and say anything to get views on their youtube channel. Smh 🤦♂️

Pragg watched Arjun win, waited a few moments, and returned to his chair knowing he could comfortably offer Peter Leko a draw. Team India OP!
Yeah.there was no need to take unnecessary risk against very good player like Leko

Disagree. Memory gets you into the middle game. Then memory gets you nowhere. You gotta know how to play and manage your time after that.
Chess at its highest peak. Incredible endgame by Arjun

Why do players have to write moves on paper? Everything is getting recorded on camera infact multiple cameras
