I've thought of the wilderness and moving around all the time, but I've never thought of a warehouse, no one cares about warehouses and if they are anything like the Amazon Warehouse, they will most likely have a ton of things we can use to survive. Maybe not long term survival but definitely a place to stay for a little and gather things to survive..
I would never, ever go to a government run safe zone or sanctuary city. An island is the best place to get to. Not a small little island but a decent size island with a relatively large population. You could cleanse the island and begin to grow food, manage cattle, get long term sustainable initiatives running for year 2.3 and beyond.
Interesting perspective! An island does sound like a solid plan, especially for long-term sustainability. But do you think it might be challenging to cleanse the island initially and secure it against any potential threats? How would you handle the logistics of getting there and ensuring enough resources to start with? I'd love to hear more about how you'd make this plan work in practice!
All of this assumes a great deal about zombies. Some might be faster than others. Some may be very fast for a short period of time. They may learn over time and they may decay both physically and mentally over that same time. Too many variables to say with any certainty what would be safe.
Totally agree! there are so many unknowns when it comes to zombies. They could be faster, change over time, or even learn. It’s hard to predict what’s safest with so many variables. What do you think would be the most important thing to prepare for if zombies could change like that?
@@PastVisions_1 I think being part of a group, maybe a dozen or so people would be best. The lone wolf scenario would not work, I think. I also think other people would be a major problem, maybe worse than the zombies themselves. Just my opinion.
@@lochlaird924 Being part of a group definitely makes sense! there’s strength in numbers, and it can help with survival and security. @@PastVisions_1 I subscribe to the Rule of 3. In any survival situation the Rule of 3 generally applies. 3 minutes with no air. 3 hours without shelter. 3 days with no water. Apply that thinking to your group. The smallest group would be 3 people. 1 on patrol, 1 on guard, 1 sleeping. The more people, the more ground you can cover, control a larger area, etc. More than 12 people and it may be time to split into 2 groups. Far enough apart not get in the other's way, yet still close enough for mutual support if needs be.

Forest near by river. It's not just about hiding we need to survive as well. River water to drink & grow vegetables. And since it is a forest, low chances of zombies roaming in there. It's just my opinion
@@XltraGaming I don't think mindless zombies travel to forest from Cities. % of them in forest is way much less. Also it depends on the slow zombie or fast zombie, how director decides their strength 😂😂😂
That’s a clever idea! Do you think finding places without cell service could really be a good strategy, or are there better hiding spots you’d consider first in a zombie apocalypse? 😅
these are pretty good places, however a really good place would be a crawlspace. Crawlspaces have tons of hiding spots and are pretty hard to get into. It'll be pretty easy to survive in a crawlspace for a prolonged period of time (at least that's what I'd do in an urban environment if I had to stay the night. Plus, not many people are gonna think of crawlspaces :)
Hey, that's a great point! Do you think crawlspaces might be underrated as hiding spots? They seem to offer a lot of nooks and crannies to tuck away into, and as you mentioned, not many people would think to check there. Plus, with the difficulty in accessing them, wouldn't that add an extra layer of security? Sounds like a solid strategy for laying low in an urban environment, don't you think?
There can definitely be safe zones during a zombie apocalypse. Think of isolated islands, well-secured military bases, or remote areas with natural barriers. Have you considered these possibilities?🧟♂️
I'm with you on most of this, the only thing I'd be wary of is "safe zones." I'd want to know about them, but likely I'd avoid them. No offense, but most of y'all would lose your minds and be a threat, the good ones I'll take my chances gauging their intent in person, but people that lead groups may become tyrannical or dangerous. That's a whole new element to worry about. I'll take my chances moving. The only reason why we all can exist somewhat peacefully now is because of established authority being organized enough to beat back the crazies, but without that, it'd be a free for all of savagery and debauchery. I ain't gotta worry about a bear trying to grape me, at least I understand it's just trying to survive same as me, I'll take my chances with the wild and it's code.
Would anyone really want to survive one. Food electric gas water everything you will need will run out. Get in a car you'll need petrol pumps won't work. Food will rot.
Surviving a zombie apocalypse would be tough. All the things we need-food, electricity, gas, and water would eventually run out. Cars wouldn't work without petrol, and food would spoil quickly. But even with these challenges, isn't there something in us that wants to keep going, no matter what? Maybe the real question is how we could adapt and find new ways to survive. What do you think would be the most important things to focus on in a situation like that?
