    Fishing is a sport second to none? Yes, but this channel is a channel, SECOND TO NONE. You've just given fishing advice for Crappie that I've literally spent years searching for. That's right; not one single website I've ever come across details *how* to do it like Richard. Not one. And that's why he will always be the best. He's a true teacher in every sense of the word. God Bless you brother in Christ!

    Great video Richard! I love it when you explain things in detail. You’re a real blessing to Guys like me that don’t get to fish as much as I’d like to. Hoping to when I retire.

    Richard, when you get 3,800 views in the first hour after posting a video, what a testimony to what you do. Your efforts are much appreciated.

      I believe be cause Gene is so straight forward with a simple approach with his presentation and explaining. He speaks to the regular person.

    • @TheTennfisher
      @TheTennfisher 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@TidyMighty Agreed. I can learn more in one of Richard's videos than I can learn in several episodes of the TV guys, whose main focus too often appears to be look what I did, with little emphasis on the "how?" That emphasis on the how, and the simple, humble, honesty of Richard's approach is what sets him apart IMHO.

      @@TheTennfisher I’ve been fishing for 30 years religiously. I can tell you for a fact, Richard gene is 100x better than the TV fisherman all together. It makes it look easy. But he is telling the truth how to do it. But it’s like playing a banjo. I can show you how and make it look easy. But it’s going to take a lot of practice with those techniques to make it work. He’s good. Real good.

    • @fishnmaster421
      @fishnmaster421 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheTennfisher if you was to throw 5 boats / 20 boats, whatever on the same lake crappie fishing against him. I’d bet serous cash he’d slay them all 95% of the time. He is a master at fishing. Not juts crappie. He’s mastered most species on the SE US.

    Well....Lord willing I'm finally getting to come back to bama this Christmas. Rain, Snow,Sleet, or Hail will not keep me from going up to the tenn River to do a little bank fishing. Just a little to far to pull my boat over there for what little time I'll get to do some slangin. I'll be around the Wilson dam area mr. Jene. I've got a few spots to hit but was wondering if you had any tips. Would love to get after them with you someday. I live on a 56000 acre lake and it's not to bad here but they is something about the tenn I just caint get enough of...as always Keep Slangin and Keep Hangin. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY THESE HOLIDAYS and Always. You are one special man to give your knowledge of fishin out. I hope your impact on others is a true blessing to them. Give a man a fish and he want go hungry...teach a man to fish and he will feed his village.

Because you and Mama Sue are home folks I gotta give you a pass on the hat 😉😁 🦅!! Thanks for the tips and the scenery of the river that I love so much!!
