    while some people may not like the switching of positions of the images between the different phones, i liked it because it removed bias and that placebo affect that commonly affects videos like these, making you actually think about what phone is better in each shot.
    amazing video, only realizing while writing this that you have 316 subs, this quality is insane mate, ill be making that 317.

    Pixel 1 was the best camera they ever did. Instant shutter. No motion blur. Great shots which didn't fire the flash when the lights went down. I've had every pixel and the pixel 2 was a huge step down from the 1 and now they have the same shutter lag as everyone else.

    I have a 14 Pro and a Pixel 7 Pro for the best of both worlds, I agree with everything you said. The iPhone video is superior although the pictures for me are hit or miss with HDR always brightening random parts of the picture with no way to turn it off. The Pixel is reliable to just take out and hit the button and have a good result. Google is just good at post-processing although Apple is much better when it comes to video processing and in most cases portrait processing. The front camera autofocus is also very nice to have.

    Wonderful video, interesting and informative. One thing I've learned by watching your video and multitudes of others is that you really can't go wrong with buying a flagship phone, they are simply all too good. I mean nobody is going to buy a Google pixel 7 and then take photos or videos and run out and compare them to someone else with an iPhone or Samsung that took the exact same photo or the exact thing picture. Also in today's world very few people get photos developed we just share them online or through social media and people look at them a few times then delete them. The technology is so good in all these phones even the budget ones that if you buy a phone you probably are not going to regret it unless there's a simple feature that you overlooked like perhaps not having enough zoom which is a feature that I simply must have. The reason I did not buy the Google pixel 7 pro or the iPhone 14 pro was that having the Samsung s21 Ultra already in my possession they lacked the zoom that I like. Having said that when the iPhone 15 pro Max comes out with its Periscope zoom as they say is coming I will be all over it as I simply like the iPhone. I left Apple because Samsung with its 100x zoom simply was unable to be matched. Thank you for your video as it allows someone like me who struggle sometimes with technical terms to learn and know what to look for and allows me to be a more educated buyer and know what little things to look for whereas the average person may not? You have a friend in Columbus Ohio :-)!

So I get the new Google phone every year. The new pixel watch is amazing. Fitbits build in. Pretty impressive. The pixel buds are also superior to the airpods

    The deal breaker for me is which phone can capture pictures of moving subjects (pets, toddlers etc) mostly blurry free.

    • @jaydanielstech
      @jaydanielstech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pixel 7 Pro is better at capturing moving objects and has a feature that can remove blur from old photos as well.

  • @Aarav.B

    I would choose the Pixel 7 Pro over the iPhone 14 Pro. Because:
    1. IDGAF about shooting videos
    2. The camera is better, of course
    3. Processing is better
    4. Google's OS is awesome
    5. I don't like Apple anyways
    I can't wait for Google's next phone, it must be better than this one and this one is already really awesome!

    as somebody who has been shooting DSLRs for the past 14 years, can we just list what the focal length ranges on cameras are, rather than ___x zoom? I mean, 10x with a 35mm wide angle is a lot different from a 10x with a 3.5mm wide angle.

    • @jaydanielstech
      @jaydanielstech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed!
      Apple lists this as 24mm (main), 13mm (ultra-wide), 77mm (telephoto). Google doesn’t officially list this information, and results vary across sources, which is my reason to stick with the _x zoom.

    Was the Astro image shot in compressed format on iPhone? Or was is ProRaw?

    • @jaydanielstech
      @jaydanielstech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question! I shot HEIF on iPhone and JPG on Pixel, which are their defaults. A comparison of RAW capabilities would be interesting!

    • @Mistygio
      @Mistygio ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaydanielstech iPhone JPEG sucks ass but the JPEG on pixel is actually decent. This is because of the stupid auto editing that iPhone does. I would want to see a ProRaw night sky image from iPhone because realistically that’s the only way people are shooting the stars on their iPhone. In ProRaw iPhone doesn’t add the stupid sharpening. It still adds noise reduction and other stupid things but it at least preserves original detail by not adding sharpening. I’d love to see that. I know the pixel would still be better but iPhone on ProRAW is still significantly better compared to iPhone compressed photos.
