But since I already have both Volo's and Mordenkainen's (and I love them both), this comes obsolete. I am a bit sorry for player races that I do not have in books that I have, but yeah...

lol i can use all 3 books i can use the updated rules and still give the cool racial abilitys from the old books if it was some what good to my players
I see a lot of different opinions in monster multiverse on races. I know a lot of people where upset with kobolds I can see both of people opinion on kobolo some people don't like the pack tactics removal to me I think it really depends on what your party already has. And yuant -Ti. I wish what they did with yuan- ti is to just keep poison resentianct and take out magic resentianct because their snake I will probably not buy a new book. I am more of the rolepayer D&D player so I always have one negative trait or more depending on the rolls.it made things more interesting because not every race is going to be the same. I just don't see the benefit of me paying 30 to 40 bucks on thing if I want to change I can as long has the Dm is okay with it.
Also the book I like on the old books they had paragraphs spaces I would probably not be able to read that book because I would forget where I am at.

I think this book was a cash grab. There are much better third party monster books.
I can see that, yeah. It didn't really have anything new, it's just preparing for 5.5e in my eyes.
