Star Jasmine is not actually a Jasmine plant even though it’s got the name. Information about that that on TH-cam.

Tip for you- your James Galway is flowering at the top only because it needs to be trained out at a 45 degree angle or less to produce blooms on the lateral branches . So your main leader needs to be lower to the ground, hope that makes sense 😊

Hiya, you have a beautiful garden. Please be careful about fig tree roots though. They are very strong and can start breaking through walls if too close to a house. This happened to my mother who had a lovely fig tree by her wall. 👍

@West London Gardener I've just watched the video, it's brilliant! How long did it take your star jasmine to go from a cutting to where it is now please in its pot? Also I have star jasmine plants and was told by the supplier its normal for yellowing. Mine go yellow and then red and then a lot drop off to make way for new shoots. I also feed them liquid seaweed as advised.. As for your rose just flowering at the top. Ive heard it being said that if they are trained to grow straight up the will only flower at the top. This may be useful to u.. Maybe someone else can shed some light xxx
Hey Davena 💗💗 thanks for the inspo to film this. That cutting is about a year old (maybe less 9-12 months).. i think you're right the yellowing could be new growth, it makes sense! Perhaps my neglect wasnt that bad then !!🙊🙊🙊🙊Regarding the rose... that sounds very logical, i initially thpught it might not be getting enough light at the bottom....but what you suggested makes absolute sense! For the climbers in my garden i do try to train then horizontally, but my mum seems to have trained this upwards.....after it finishes its first flower flush i might try and train it better....you are a superstar Davena with alot if knowledge.. look forward to gardening together 💗💗💗🤍🤍

Use Epsom salt’s to stop yellowing
i bought 15 cuttings for 15 dollars....now i regret not getting a 1 gallon plant for 25 dollars....that's 10 dollars more for a full year or two of growth.
