Friday, November 13, 2009, at the V. Lisinski Concert Hall at 7,30 pm, the world-known young Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica will perform with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Alan Bjelinski.

And i thought Chopins Revolutionary was terrifying (no doubt it is). This sounds as if the hero and the villain have a massive battle causing the entire world to burst into flame, only for him to be finally killed by the villain. An absolute masterpiece of an etude.

Davvero interessante questa versione con pianoforte e orchestra dello Studio n. 8 , op. 12 di Scriabin , gia' di per se' stupendo con la sua carica suggestiva ed emozionante di romantico pathos
