YEEEESSSSS that is what i liked about YTC since start. Thank you so much for helping out musicians, it is IMHO very important that people know how price is not always connected with qulity. HB helped musician, and a lot of people would know about them without you. Same goes for Joyo and some other brands.
Great Test Henning. I was testing the ASR version at 2024 Guitar Summit booth and found it to be very nice. I could not resist to my G.A.S. an had to order one - it is on the way.
A friend of mine just bought an HB acoustic (one of the jumbos) and loves it. His only complaint was the postion of the strap button, but that's a preference thing.
@ I think his was with the button on the bottom of the heel (facing his body) so it leans forwards rather than the side of the heel which is better . Like on Alvarez guitars.

I was just thinking. I’d love to see the inside cavity of the guitar. It would be interesting to see the bracing and all the other guts. I would think the factory is taking great care with glue spill-out and making sure the bracing is cleanly and properly attached without gaps. Would be nice to compare both guitars side by side and see if they both are built with the same care as a higher end instrument. The fact that this comes with a branded Fishman is insane. Even Ibanez and Fender often cheap out and rebrand the pre-amps as their own (even if it is still likely a Fishman because it’s identical to a Fishman branded one, lol). That’s a pretty good pickup and preamp system HB installed. How the heck did they manage to afford a branded Fishman Sonicore? I’m wondering if perhaps they got a deal on them by buying a slightly older Sonicore model in bulk? Fishman has been making the Sonitone/Sonicores for a long time, and they get refreshed every so often. Perhaps using a recent prior model and buying them in bulk is cheaper than we think? This way we still get a great Fishman at a steal. That’s my guess, anyway. I hope we can dive deeper on these guitars. I gotta know more because both are punching way above their price point! 🤘🏻🎸😎

I see, there is a black topped version available, which I find even more beauty, than the nature one. (Would be great if they create a nice "emerald green burst" color version too of this instrument...! 🙂 ) And it sounds really great, even to my taste, which is interesting, as I basically prefer the "mid-range" & "rock" sounding (mahogany and/or walnut body) acoustics. But for this particular piece I do not feel, that it should be dedicated mainy for country music. ☺ I must also note, that the wood selection for this very product seems to be a really wise decision. Especially the "nato" neck... As probably it is the "Mora excelsa", which is one of the hardest, most stiff and durable piece of wood a guitar neck can be made of.😎 And excuse me... do you happen to know, how come that _in general_ (just as you said here at the beginning of this video) Harley Benton acoustics have a better quality (lesser faulty pieces) comparing to their e-guitar lineup? 🤔What could be the reason behind it?
I have several HB acoustics and I really love the value for the money. Unfortunately there is one that I have found disappointing, the CLA 28VE WN, it does not resonate, the wood is like strangling the sound plus the neck with a sharp V shape is very uncomfortable. I really regret to keep it hoping for an evolution on the sound that has not come, and instead return a CLA 15MCE VS cheaper and with much richer and resonant sound. In the other hand I have a 89€ HB that the sound is ten times better. Or the 12 strings HB … that I love.
On the DI part, there is a bit of a low end thump on the attack. Is that desirable and hence left in on purpose? I've never recorded ANYTHING so I don't know.
Hi Henning have been considering picking up a 12 string.. you mentioned you have a HB one.. how is it for staying in tune? 12 are notorious for needing constant retuning.. love to hear your opinion on your HB12.
Great comparison would be the AllSolid vs the non solid models.

If his is the same, he just gotta roll with it lol!

I have the HB parlor guitar with sikta spruce top. I installed a transacoustic system in it and I absolutely LOVE it.

I bought myself the all solid version of this guitar for x-mas, nice to see a sooner and good review of a fully shot in the dark (by myself)

I dont own a HB acoustic but I certainly would buy one in the future. That is an attractive looking and good sounding guitar at qn amazing price.

I agree. I have the CLA28 and although it's a nice working guitar it seems overbuilt and it sounds rather thin and without much character

Looks nice but doesn't sound extraordinary. Other models of HB sound better.
