In Gundam Hathaway it’s actually a three-part movie This is just part one the second part and third part aren’t out yet but there’s only like two fights in this movie in the Middle part and at the end Just like with the Penelope the Xi Gundam also has some built-in flight system just like the Penelope, but unlike the Penelope, which is armor, which allows it to fly the Xi has built in the suit itself it does not need no extra armor to allow it to fly freely but unlike the Penelope the Xi has less weapons BTW you already watched the middle part of the fight, which was the Me02R-F02 Messer Type-F02 VS the FD-03-00 Gustav Karl Type-00 and the last bit of the Penelope VS Xi fight
To answer the question about the ghost guy, the guy who told Hathaway that the reaper won't wait for him, was Amuro Ray who died to events prior to this in MSG Char's Counterattack by redirected an asteroid base called Axis away from Earth before it could impact the planet. And, as Amuro is a Newtype (basically space psychics of a sort), that likely was his ghost talking to Hathaway which can happen with Newtypes of sufficient power.
@@johnmorrison6368 Thanks for the explanation. We're kinda getting a grasp on certain terms like Newtypes. We watched the asteroid base scene from Char's Counterattack, so now with the context you added things are coming full circle.
Xi vs penelope. Not laser weaponry. mobile suit are not affected by those. In gundam, these are particle cannons or at least most of them are....they call it beam weaponry. These are some of the first few mobile suits in gundam that can fly freely in atmosphere. (Minus the transformable ones). Using an I-field. Basically they are on big invisible tank treads. . . Or rolling on a bubble.
@@WadeWadeReacts well. Yea. Technically right. Its not energy or propellant efficient to have your thrusters turned on full power the whole time. Usually these are used for high and long jumps on earth. Unless ofc you are using a variable machine (a mobile suit that transforms into a jet), or a minovsky craft system. (These are the first that uses them, but also very bulky variants.)
First off, the cockpits don't work as windows. They got multi-directional cameras to give the pilots 360 view of everything (usually the UC suits does these, especially ones that are set after the One Year War. OYW suits and other Gundam series only give 180, unless specified). and that other dude wasn't an AI... he's a POW from Mafty's side brought on as a collateral or something. I forgot, it's been 3 years lol.
@@azeraph20 I was saying that because a few times the cameras have gone out during a Gundam battle. In the scenario where I'm the pilot, seeing would be good if all the cameras failed. Lol

@@NeoXNeo2007 A three part movie sounds cool. Yeah some of the fight definitely looked familiar.

I recommend "Gundam Unicorn's first launch" scene too. That's emotional.

@@VoidTemplar Yeah someone else mentioned that few Gundams fly in a planet's atmosphere. They said it had something to do with being energy efficient.

Ill be honest i can barely make out your comments over the sound of the clip. Might have to tweak the sound mixing
