I have a trip planned for autumn, definitely adding Ochanomizu to my list of places to browse around, maybe I can find a Miku Hatsune effect pedal there for a less extravagant price than what ebay wants! Is there a similar market street for tools/hardware that might have some shops selling vintage woodworking or metalworking/machine tools?

Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry but I don't know much about these musical instruments. But there are a lot of tax free second hand stores in the area. For example, Shimokukra Second Hands and Guitar Planet are famous. I really hope you'll find your favourite tools! Have a great trip and thanks again for choosing Japan for your trip destination!
