Many thanks for sharing highlights of the Gottleib Tolstyga Memorial show, he was a very close friend of mine & I'm sure he's pleased to see how this show has blossomed from what started out as the Heileman Hiatus campout to this major Breweriana show.
I've been collecting all collectibles since 80's. about a dozen beer related mostly Neon Signs. Unfortunately we don't have a beer show /swap I know of in NYC area.☹Thanks for showing.
I sold Old Style in the 70s & 80s and the wholesaler would load two warehouses full of Old Style before summer started, I wondered where all that beer was going but by the end of summer it was gone , our semi drivers would make 2 or 3 trips to La Crosse everyday . Light beers came along and that was kind of its downfall. Later Pabst bought it and was brewed by Miller in Milwaukee , just never tasted the same . Now that it’s brewed in LaCrosse I think it tastes really good again, have some in my fridge as we speak
Ive never been much of a drinker but back in the mid 70s I owned a liquor store and started collecting beer patches. I have over 1000.
Never gets old , so much to see !
Glad you are enjoying the videos!
Always great Thank You!

OS is back in La Crosse. I hear they are not using the famous Krausening process though that they use back in the day.
I had forgotten about Andeker beer 🍺, wasn't that Pabst's top of the line beer?
Yes, I think they were trying to market it as a high end beer.
Yes Andeker was a very good beer
What beer were you drinking
Not sure Old Style was available there.
Is there not much emphasis on cans at most of these shows? Thanks
Some shows have more cans than anything else. Depends on the show. My videos tend to focus on the non-can items.
@@thebeercollector Just curious. Started collecting cans again after a 40 year hiatus
Any Gunds Peerless?
There was a lot of Peerless items there.
have you guys ever heard of COORS?
Of course. Are you saying that, because you don't see much of that in my videos?
@@thebeercollector yes saw one thing COORS! hoping to see more!
