man people here commenting are very rude. You all are missing the point here about bon jovi singing this song. Its not about politics here....Its about a famous rock singer that was gonna go on tour in china trying to bring joy and suprise the chinese speaking people and give them a gift of a great well know classic song that they all know and love and trying to let them know that hes trying to bond with their culture too. Tell me how many singers or often they will do something like this. Man hes cucasion and don't know the chinese language abd puts his effort to leatn the language for this song to bring comfort smiles to the country hes going to perform to. You all talking about about the politics of the word "Chinese" are really ruining the moment.
He sang beautifully ; regardless of accent pls .don’t bother those unfavourable comments , some people juz didn’t know the meaning of appreciation . 👍👍👍Bravo 👍👍👍
Bon jovi is a legendary musician and I'm not sure why people have to argue where the song came from in light of politics.. This is about him singing in the mandarin LANGUAGE for all Chinese fans, since he'll be touring in China and Taiwan.. Needless to say, he's a talented guy
Of the unusual pairings I've seen, I was never expecting my favorite song in Mandarin and one of my favorite rock artists! This is incredible! Kudos to you, Bon Jovi!
Whether this song is from Mainland China or Taiwan isn't even the point here. You politically easily-offended are acting too desperate and insecure, or that your English isn't proficient enough to realize that the word "Chinese" is referring to the language. Bon Jovi is singing amazingly, let's leave it at that.
lyrics: You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you My feelings are real, my love is also real, the moon represents my heart You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you My feelings will never move, my love will never change, the moon represents my heart The gentlest of kisses has opened my heart The deepest of love affairs, I think about it till today You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you Just think about it, just take a look, the moon represents my heart
survivrs This Chinese song is the most famous love song in countries speak Chinese. This is also my mother's favorite song, too. The lyric described a man is telling a unforgettable love very softly and how deep feelings the man has to his/her lover. The lyric is beautiful as the melody.
+survivrs actually it is more literally of someone telling their lover that the moon represents their heart (which is the title of the song "moon represents my heart")
The original singer is from Taiwan, decades ago. This song is classic and is now popular world wide. Bon Jovi did a great job. I grew up listening to Bon Jovi :)
Good to see that Chinese like at least something about Taiwanese, even if it's just their music. I'm so tired of all that hate from Chinese against Taiwanese, it's disgusting.
***** After having stayed in both countries for several years I can assure u that it's the Chinese that have prejudices against Taiwan, seeing as a joke and humuliate it as often as possible while thinking it's perfectly fine to do so. That's 95% of what I experienced. Fortunately the remaining 5% give me hope.
One1 my experience is the opposite... The Taiwanese like the Hongkees like to say nasty stuff about the Mainland Chinese, the Mainland Chinese I met were indifferent on all these... Lesson learnt: experiences vary for different people... the fact you randomly come up with 95% show just how unreliable and biased you are...
Really appreciate his effort to song a Mandarin song despite being an English man. It wasn't perfect, but it was heartwarming. This is one of my favorite songs all time and he did a great job singing it. His voice added a touch of melancholy to this song. Thank you for making an effort to sing this. 😄
Watching this again in Aug 2016, and I still think it's incredibly beautiful and I love that Bon Jovi sang in mandarin before going to his shows in China. I think that shows an amazing amount of love for his fans and a great heart
Jon Bon Jovi put a lot of efforts to make this songs perfect.. He's full of humbleness and respect.. Regards from North Borneo fans and thanks for sharing this beautiful video!!
wow i can't stop listening this song. my one and only favourite mandarin song sang by my favourite rock singer! i can't believe it! i never wish for this. thank you very much whoever come up this idea. #themoonrepresentsmyheart
Jon sang in Chinese, he did not sing in Taiwanese, thus the song is a Chinese song. Stop the bickering and enjoy that the man took the effort to do this and it turned out beautifully. Speaking/singing Mandarin is also considered speaking/singing in Chinese. Stop the political debate and smell the flowers. ...Can't we all just get along? -Rodney King
Han Chueh Isn't Taiwan 中華民國? ...So let's just say 中國 is short for 中華民國...Now we're all happy since it's all encompassing :) Love and compassion is what we need. Enjoy the song that spans all Mandarin/Chinese speaking countries in Asia. Have a Nice Day!
I LOVED IT. I'm Taiwanese, and my fiancée is American. This is the perfect music video, the best song ever that I can find in this moment. Thank you, Bon Jovi! Always surprising us with your magic. (clap clap)
Man, this is so awesome! A world class rock star singing a classic, a Teresa Teng song! And the arrangement is also great! JBJ, you never cease to disappoint me. I'm glad I'm a fan.
What a wonderful gift for your chinese fans, Jon. :-) It's just beautiful. I can see how much work you put into this song. Wishing you an great day and I can't wait to get Burning Bridges tomorrow.
happy chinese moon festival , i listen Bon Jovi sing this chinese classic romantic song very time let me heart shake ~ ^ ^ may God blessing ... truly EPIC
Touched and moved so bad! Thanks for singing it, it released just about time. Today is Chinese Valentine's Day. Please sing this song in Asia concerts in Sep. This song just like a national song in Chinese society, we can sing it from 9-99 years old. We urge to hear it!!!
+HITOKI HASEKAWA1. Chinese song 中文歌 2. Valentine’s Day in China
XXD Taiwan is not part of China and this song is Taiwanese Song.

I applause him for singing this song and giving his best to pronounce the words!!
+Mimi Kyng You can tell he practiced a lot to make it sound great.
This wasn't a half-assed performance.
yes. he did great. better than me, definitely
So beautifully done! ❤
He's so concentrated on the pronunciation and everything...love this guy
Agreed!
His pronunciation is far better than many students that have learnt Chinese for 2 years. We are waiting for you.

Kevin Cheng Oh get off it. You make about as much sense as someone saying that Americans and English people are exactly the same thing.
中国情歌《月亮代表我的心》it said it's a China song
Dana Seilhan Do you see me state anywhere that China and Taiwan are the same?
Ok you talk sense to me
But it is a Taiwan song fyi
lyrics:
You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you
My feelings are real, my love is also real, the moon represents my heart
You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you
My feelings will never move, my love will never change, the moon represents my heart

Thank you so much for the translation. I really appreciate that. It's a beautiful song.
Thank you for translating 😊
My Chinese daughter in law gave it a great rating, really good effort!
I don't speak the language, but that was beautiful!

Musica maravilhosa linda parabéns Jon Bon Jovi ✋
Bon Jovi nyanyi lagu ini....KEREEENNNN !!!!
Robin Chang

Luv this! ❤️Bon Jovi singing it! 🤩
Hello, how are you doing today? Nice meeting you here.
This is amazing!
Thank you Mr Jon Bon Jovi for singing such a nice lovely song and I keep repeating the song. :)
It's beautifully done! Jon's Chinese pronunciation is very good. I love his rendition of the song.
Love his voice 💜
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
AND YOU ARE THE PERFECT MAN TO SING THIS SONG!!!!!HA!HA!
We support Bon Jovi always...I was in America in 1983...we had t shirts of urs...love always...peace
KANE LIN
+KANE LIN
+KANE LIN
+KANE LIN hhhhhhhh

+HITOKI HASEKAWA1. Chinese song 中文歌 2. Valentine’s Day in China
HITOKI HASEKAWA
Taiwan is not part of China and this song is Taiwanese Song.
HITOKI HASEKAWA
Taiwanese songs
Chinese
Many years later…still love this version. Really amazing for someone who doesn’t even speak the language.
