Hogwarts Courtyard is a spacious yet cozy hang-out spot for students of all Houses. It is where some students spend their break time playing Gobstones, read, chat or watch the distant Quidditch practices & the Giant Squid. Students get a beautiful view of the Great Lake and the mountains beyond the castle grounds.
The Courtyard is a quadrangle in Hogwarts Castle. A covered stone cloister with an open colonnade runs around it, and two checkpoint towers flank its entryway via the Viaduct. There is a stone walkway leading from this courtyard into The Quad, and into the Viaduct Entrance.
The courtyard is partially paved, in a cross pattern. It is from here, Hogwarts students watched the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic carriage and the Durmstrang Institute ship arrived at Hogwarts for the Tri-wizard Tournament. Time flies!

It is the Halloween time of the year-Who else is rewatching all Harry Potter now? :)
Imagine:-
It was a spring afternoon. Ron, Hermione, Harry and you have came to the courtyard after the afternoon lessons. You removed your socks and shoes and sat down putting your feet in the fountain. It was your habit, Harry followed you and did the same. Meanwhile Hermione opened her parchments and started reading and Ron was eating a fresh apple. It was oddly peaceful even if Voldemort was on the rise. The only sounds you can hear is the sound of water fountain, the crinkling of Hermione's parchment , the crunching of Ron eating his apples and the chittering of birds. With the cool sensation of the water on your feet and gentle blowing of wind you fell in deep slumber.....

I love reading comments like these they are so like nice and wants me to have a real hogwarts with the courtyard and the black lake and everything, but these types of comments are really hard to find thank you for making me imagine peace with the golden trio.
Wow 💖 looking at this I miss the days when the books, the movies and the videogames were coming out new. Seemed like Harry Potter was everywhere, an eternity ago now.

There’s something particularly lovely about your courtyard. Makes me feel safe and surrounded in a womb-like feeling.
The attention to detail is cool, I can really put myself there.
I’m not one for going to find the Harry Potter characters, I prefer to bastardise and twist things to suit me. I’m at hogwarts after the wizarding war, in more peaceful, progressive times.
Rowling gave us the wizarding world and I enjoy playing in it in my own way ☺️
the little details like the giant squid and the quidditch hoops in the background genuinely make me feel like i’m actually there 😍🥺

I usually prefer "indoor" ambiences but this one is just great! I especially love the sound of steps on the foliage and the pages getting turned over. I was already a fan of the spring themed courtyard but I like how time progresses in this one

Why is nobody rebuilding hogwarts and make it a hotel? The common rooms could be the hotel rooms, the great hall the restaurant and potions class could be a bar. You could go to hagrid's hut to get a cup of tea or join herbology class to buy some plants.
