To answer your question, boxing professionals focus on one discipline. That isn't the case with MMA fighters. While MMA fighters do train boxing, that isn't their sole focus. So while there is always going to be the possibility of getting caught, boxers will school mma fighters in boxing 95% of the time.

It shows that he’s got that Conor McGregor flare for presentation: he knows how to get into character; he knows how to step into a way-over-the-top attitude, handle the pressure and produce an effect with his personality. To answer your question, boxing professionals focus on one discipline. That isn't the case with MMA fighters. While MMA fighters do train boxing, that isn't their sole focus. So while there is always going to be the possibility of getting caught, boxers will school mma fighters in boxing 95% of the time.

It's quite interesting to see the parity of Jake when he drops the character/act for interviews. He does such a good job pissing people off that they forget it's all for show. Sure, he goes too far with it at times, but he definitely knows how to generate interest.

I’ll never be a fan of this moron even if he does come across well. The stuff he has done in the past just proves how insufferable he is as a human.
He just came off as cool, friendly and intelligent in this interview. It shows that he’s got that Conor McGregor flare for presentation: he knows how to get into character; he knows how to step into a way-over-the-top attitude, handle the pressure and produce an effect with his personality. Pretty remarkable actually.

Maybe he's grown up, but doubt it. He's shown his core/true colors many times before; that he's an arrogant, egotistical bully. People can definitely change, but a person's core traits never do. He can act like a decent person when he wants...but in reality, everything he's done, I don't see him as a good person. He's a bad influence on children, promotes sexual content to children, broke advertising laws to children, launched 2 scams targeting children that got him a ton of lawsuits, shit on Mike Perry who helped him train for Askren just so he can get more clout, hurts his brother because he can't stand when his brother is in the limelight and he's not and overall acts like a selfish, self-centered man-child. Even his brother has talked about this (but says he loves him regardless because he's his brother). In my opinion, he does have characteristics of a sociopath. Sociopaths basically don't feel empathy. And they can be extremely charming when they want to. I often see this with Jake, people hate him for how he is and acts but then he does an interview like this and suddenly everyone says "Jake seems like a really great guy, I was all wrong about him!"
Didn’t know much about the Pauls until this interview. Not gonna say this made me a fan cause his act is not really my cup of tea, but him explaining himself as a entertainer, and then especially when he pointed out the ring girl making more than some fighters as how fighters should be independent...damn. He definitely earn some of my respect.
