This is an authentic Bernina motor from 1978, very rarely, in my opinion, one of the highest quality electric motors on sewing machines. Thanks for the comment and best regards.
There was the same question somewhere, but I don't know on which video, there will be a shorts video on that topic soon, so if you can, be a little patient.
I have a Bernina Nova 900 and have checked the commutator's resistance and everything seems fine but it will not run. So confused and cannot find a new motor for it.
OK. the engine may not work for several reasons, the engine may be completely correct but will not work, for example a faulty control pedal, a broken cable, a problem with the electronic board...etc. . Sandpaper?!? No. NO! Use a pencil eraser and erase the carbon from the commutator or collection area as you refer to it. NEVER use sandpaper. It causes the brushes to foul quickly.
None of my motors have ever shown exactly the same reading on each segment. Quality motor.

How do you remove the plastic pulley, on the motor, the part that drives the belt? I don't see a set screw on the pulley, nothing.

@@MasinskiKutak Thank you, I hope to fix it. It has sentimental value, otherwise it would just be replaced.

Thanks, I don't think so.
