Not only the hsr is fast,comfort,safe and clean but the connectivity to destinations both hsr and metros are effective, convenient, economical ticket price. I just came back from China. China is totally another level.

Foreign companies worked with the locals which eventually helped them to learn, the narrative here that companies just gave away their technology is illogical, because that would mean the companies won't be able to sell their tech to world anymore, not to mention the huge cost in r&d means they'll go under. Foreign engineers come in US and learn how to install and run supercomputers all the time but they don't know what is inside the computers. Companies are doing this all the time, internationally. No companies will give away their core technologies. China already understood how and what it took to build and run HSR system before they started to partner with foreign companies. Where are you getting the numbers? Chinese debt was $12 trillion in 2023 whereas the GDP was 17 trillion dollars. Please don't make numbers up
