It is true that China learned the basics of designing and constructing high speed railway (HSR) from Japanese and European companies but had now moved ahead of these companies in the performance, quality and quantity of completed HSR projects.
China HSR is also vertically integrated to a large extent, producing the components for the tracks, track-side equipment, rolling stocks, signalling system, communication system, power system, etc, within China.
Credit should be given to the Chinese technocrats who had worked hard and learn fast to achieve this success.
    This is really

I disagree on the whole "coping" part. Learning is one thing, coping is completely different. Foreign companies worked with the locals which eventually helped them to learn, the narrative here that companies just gave away their technology is illogical, because that would mean the companies won't be able to sell their tech to world anymore, not to mention the huge cost in r&d means they'll go under.
This shows many subtle anti China biases in these videos.

Foreign engineers come in US and learn how to install and run supercomputers all the time but they don't know what is inside the computers. Companies are doing this all the time, internationally. No companies will give away their core technologies. China already understood how and what it took to build and run HSR system before they started to partner with foreign companies. China also know how to make high quality hard steel. Learn how to make hard steel first before building HSR. That's why Chinese can move up every fast on their HSR system.

    China's debt = 52 trillion $
    China's gdp = 17 trillion $
Henceforth, it was quite obvious to build high speed railway networks & infrastructure swiftly & at large scale in short period of time
Y'all hafta include such factors, people generally talk 'bout look at China's infrastructure, they're so ahead " , but nobody understands & analyze how they gotten such remarkable development, it's solely due debt they borrowed,
The matter of fact that I'm tryna highlight that if any nation in the world borrows 3 times/thrice amount debt with respect to its economy/gdp , then they'll rise /grow dramatically/drastically with rampant pace of growth
It's quite simple but theres lack of awareness, another example is US , it's economy 26 trillion $ but debt is 33 trillion $ ,
That implies or it concludes to the fact that debt on US is 7 trillion $ more than US' gdp /economy, wherefore it's quite straight & obvious fact that why such nations attained rapid growth
Infact it's the same scenario with all the developed nations, you'll realise that they all have way higher debt with respect to their own nations' economies
Higher the debt amount they borrowed the higher is insane development, but this is what I think western media outlets & so called western intellectuals & experts hideout and refrain to have coverage cuz it'll expose their " development model scams " which they promote everywhere and make underdeveloped nations inferior by showcasin' " look you nations still lagged behind"
But these ones don't tell why their nations gotten ahead, cuz were they more talented & better in sense or domains than the rest of the world?, or Their nations simply borrowed exorbitant debt and henceforth they acquired intense growth 😂🤨🤔
