Citizens of earth is honestly a little underrated. VP gets a lot of character development here. At first he forces the party to fight and acts like he contributes. Here, he actually steps up when the party gives up and accept the Misery Machine destroying earth. And when VP does, he thinks he can just intimidate the machine, but it’s not until the Secretary mentions hope is what is destroying the misery machine that VP starts to get stronger. And when he uses Hope, the attack animation is the citizens of earth attacking the Misery Machine. VP destroyed the machine that nearly destroyed everything with the emotion of all his followers.
THIS should be on a list of most memorable final boss battles in an rpg. It shows the main character's true strength of character as makes a point as his only attack changes to Hope. From there everyone you recruited is behind the man for one reason or another and having recruited them you know the reasons.
i did a NG+ run with the secretary on my team and i can tell you that nothing actually changes so at points there will be two secretaries... which becomes hilarious when the secretary on your team says the secretary supreme has a screw loose as well as saying that the VP has his heart in the right place and cares about other people while the secretary supreme is calling the VP a moron
it works in NG+... this is a pretty fun game when all of the side content is stripped away so that it doesnt make you lvl60 when you only really need to be lvl30 to beat the final boss... thats like 3/4 of the game though which is pretty sad
The love and admiration of the masses fills the VP with determination. He leveled up!

It always fun to see other people's party ideas. Mine was Brother Baker and Conspiracy Guy.

Carlo Colvin shows how he grew as a character, learning how to be a better leader and that a leader fights with his people
THAT ARTIST IS GODDAMN BOB ROSS
Programmer and Beekeeper don't even show up with the others during the final battle.
As far to my knowledge, I think that they only show up in the post-game
@@Piss_Off_Plz Nah you can get bee keeper before the final fight. I think because all you need to do is find her missing bee’s
Kinda reminds me of Giygas's fight except you use HAPPINESS of all things to defeat the boss rather than prayer.
tHiS cAlLs FoR a CeLeBrAtIoN!
Curious, what happens in new game+ with the secretary? Is he still on your team the whole game? What happens when you get to this point?
