I adored "The canal boat cafe"!! Admittedly I remember very little of it, besides wooden carvings for some reason! I do love Cressida's books though, always get me out of a reading slump if I'm feeling a bit sluggish and don't fancy thinking too hard about what I'm reading :o)
I think thats the thing, I did enjoy it while I was in it but it didnt give me the feels her other books tend to :)

Well done on starting your new job! I'm also a checkout chick, but for Mr S.... Yes, definitely look after your feet. I usually wear black Skechers memory foam trainers, and usually get through one pair a year. Also, look after your mental and physical health 💜
I use my breaks for listening to audiobooks or an easy read, so having that commute time is great for you 😊

So nana is actually my husbands grandma, and neither of his parents are with us anymore. My parents help us out when they can

Lynn here on Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, I dont want to interfere, but I reckon you should seperate your bills from your free spending as it were , because your bills have got to be paid and wont change anyway , only maybe once a year , so Id have a calender for bills and another for the rest of it , then it would be more clear , just a thought 🤔, good look in your new job , I know what Anxiety can cause I suffer terrible ly Take Care Love sending loads a Luv ❤
Yeah I think I am going to do this in September and just write on things that are spent on top of our bills.
Well done on getting a job! Agree that a care job ontop of caring at home would be way too much. Supermarket jobs tend to be pretty stress free in my experience (especially checkouts) so I hope it'll be ok for you 😊

So true! So far I have done 2 full shifts and I am enjoying getting to talk to lots of different people! Not had the results of my scans yet, still waiting for an appointment for one more
